X / How would you describe Sigma?

In a certain other thread, some of us started debating a question about the X series main villain.  Namely, is Sigma insane?  Or is he merely evil?

His actions throughout the series heavily imply sociopathy, with a side of schadenfraude.  Not to mention the rampant megalomania and genocidal hatred of humanity.  Then there's his unhealthy obsession with X and Zero.

Thoughts?

Do you guys think they should make the next X game 3D?  Or has X7 soured you all on that idea.

A 3D Megaman game could actually be awesome if they do it right.  Legends pretty much proved that.  Maybe a third-person shooter?

Wily is about the most dangerous man in the world.  His rebellions have cost billions of lives and trillions of dollars in property damage.  Wouldn't killing him save many more lives?

I ask because Mega Man wasn't allowed to shoot Wily thanks to the "Robot must not harm a human being" rule.  Wouldn't a robot come to the conclusion that killing one life would save billions more?

Zero / About Omega

I have several questions regarding Omega.

1st: How was Weil able to control Omega if he was the so called "Original Zero?"  The best Capcom came up with was "Omega's possessing Zero's original body", which, unless Omega is Sigma, makes no sense.

2nd: Why didn't Omega mutate like Elpizo when he absorbed the Dark Elf?

3rd: Did Weil obtain Zero's original body before or after the Elf Wars?

This has bugged me for quite some time: the Zero series ended, yet the vast majority of the boss quotes are still unknown.  I wanted to create a topic where we could compile a list of known quotes besides: "WARE WA MESIAH NARI!! HAHAHAHA!".
