I know dat. I generally don't make those evident. I like the pants to look more flowish.

Left hand's most likely screwed up too. I need practice with fists.

That phrase sounds familiar...

Anyways, The picture looks good. Besides what's been already been pointed out I would change the quills up a little bit. Since to me, it looks like an older Sonic with clothes on.

But that's just me.

Because a certain talking teacup always uses this? 8D

Anyways, hmm, it looks rather nice.

Wow, sweet, I'm getting more positive comments than I thought.

Oh lordy, a human character! Somewhat vintage picture (drew it a month ago)

It'd seem to fit in more around here. His name is Tai...something-or-other, and he comes from a clan that wears broken samurai helmets to show their confidence in the face of battle and utter disregard for their opponents' abilities. Also because I wanted him to have a visible headband. He's a warrior, blah, blah, blah. Haven't thought up a bio for him or any special traits yet.

*stops rambling*

I like his clothing! It's awesome and I love your style. Even thought of becoming cartoonist? [eyebrow]

Keep up the great work!

My art's not THAT great. XD

Thank you, tho.

Montgomery "Monty" Y. Faultz.

A hyena furry for novelty. That weapon he wields is some kind of gunsickle named "Cackle." Mainly used as a scythe, the other side can be used to fire mid-ranged blasts of considerable force if charged enough. Also has razor-sharp claws and teeth, being a predator by species.

His middle name is a secret, and anyone who dares to utter it to his knowledge is a dead man. The secrecy of his middle name is one of the few things that can break him out of his usual good-humor.

Your art looks pretty good.  Though the hand not holding the gun stick in the last picture kinda looks weird to me, I don't know why.

Running out of older art to showcase... (http://img78.imageshack.us/img78/5423/qnextstyleox5.png)Don't make me break out a pencil again. ;-;

Eh. I like this pic, tho. And since a lot of you aren't seen around my other hangouts this technically isn't a spoiler. 8D

Hitchhiker's thumb done wrong on the rightmost hand, I've noticed.

Well, you certainly have a style.  Your linework's nice and tight, too.  For the style you're working with, the proportions are decent, though like Sky and you have pointed out, there seems to be some issues with waists and hands.  I would suggest adding some hips, but that would give the characters female hourglass figures.  For male characters, widening the waist a bit will help, though.

As for hands...  Hands are notoriously difficult to draw.  However, remember that every artist has a hand to use as a model.  And if you need a specific angle, ask someone to model for you.  This also works for drawing difficult poses, too.  Studying how your hands are structured when either in a fist, holding something, flexed, etc, will help when drawing them.

Otherwise, the drawings are pretty nice.  Don't be afraid to break out a pencil again.  The more you draw, the more you'll get the hang of the more difficult aspects.

Bumped my art topic. I tend to let them sink and then bump them a few weeks later. Sorry...

Re-drew the outfit with the sashrag. (it is NOT a thong, for [tornado fang's sake.)

And then I drew something.

Nah, this is a couple of weeks old, still semi-recent. Just to see if I could still draw Quantum.

Can he even run in those pants?

Well, below the pants it's all muscle.

I like the shading though.

Can he even run in those pants?

I would hope so. Otherwise his "Around the World in 7 Days" journeys would get quite...sloggish.

ULTIMA BUMP

Eh. Experimenting. Trying a non-Sonicky approach.

Also, dreads.

New topic or bump? I dunno.

Anyway, here's a gift for Aqua. I drew that little hedgehog in his signature in a different style.
