I was talking to Auto (of the old Robot Center) about this last night.  The only secret he can think of (to American veiwers) would be that Wily Machine 9 is "an homage to Daikuu Maryuu Gaiking, specifically to the good guy's base, the Daiku Maryu which basically translate to "great sky demon
 dragon". "

Hey Gauntlet, it turns out you need to use your OWN server to host images!

one of the secrets that I know is about that -Sigma- thing in Megaman 9.

when you put -Sigma- as your player name, it says something about innapropriatae langage. I don't know if this one was known before or anything, just pointing this out.
Yeah, but they say that only the letters "GM" are actually censored.  So perhaps they don't want people to call themselves Game Master?  Or do they have something against General Motors?

*shruggs* I can't keep track of all the guesses, sorry.

And the image worked when I previewed it.  Strange.

You can't really trust the preview, considering your browser would have already cached the image for easy re-loading.

Hey, I think I've stumbled onto the secret!  We need to unlock MegaJerryMan and use the Power Glove to make him Mega Bust into his own mouth.

H: One of my offspring is over at Capcom boards providing a teaser about this but the secret does not involve the Megaman series at all. It doesn't even involve Capcom. The easter is actually a nod to Sonic and Megaman's friendship as seen in an old pic of them shaking hands in a magazine. In Jewelman's stage you will see both the old and new versions of chaos emeralds as well as the swinging platforms from the Marble Zone. The Magma Beams in Magmaman's stage are like the falling lava in Marble Zone and Lava Reef Zone.

There is also the Megaman 6 Earth at the beginning of Galaxyman's stage.

What, we were supposed to recognize the CHAOS EMERALDS out of a bunch of common gem shapes that don't even come in 7 colors?

You linked directly to the image from the source's website.

I suggest you use Imageshack's URL feature in the future. People do not like it when you use their bandwith for other purposes.

Edit: Whoops!

*pshh*

If I was gonna use Imageshack (or a temp folder in my own site), I wouldn't have linked directly to the source in the first place.  Next time I'll just clear my cache before testing.  Or you'll just see another "no hotlinking" image from me in the future.

That seems like a grasp at straws.

Jewel Man's stage almost did seem pretty Mystic Cave Zone-ish with the swinging platforms. Then those gems everywhere.

Seth (S-Kill) is just screwing with us. In reality, there is no real secret. He just wants us to keep playing it. :P

If there really was a secret in MM9, hard core mega man fans would have discovered it by now. X_X

Who wants to bet that the secret's already known, and shortly after Seth said something about it, it was released and he's just trying to save face?

Remember Donkey Kong.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.
