Bandai and Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA announced a couple of days ago the release of another Rockman figure inside the D-Arts toy line, but this time it's not another Rockman X figure, this time it's the turn of Rockman from the Classic series. Below you can read the official press release.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the original Japan game release, Tamashii Nations is proud to announce the long awaited and highly requested release of classic Megaman into the ranks of the advanced D-Arts high-articulation action figure series. Fan feedback was critical in the design of this set, which features Met and Rush figures! Superior articulation allows for recreating a variety of action poses. Also included in set is an extensive array of accessory parts such as shot effect parts, as well as two interchangeable face parts, additional right arm Mega Buster parts and Mega Buster barrel opening part, interchangeable right arm, and interchangeable left/right hand parts.

The figure will be released in Japan this December for 3,675 Yens and January 2013 in North America for $44.99.

I gather Rush isn't articulated (or at least not much) if he's a pack-in, but getting a Classic series 3-for-1 is still a pretty sweet deal.

The ONLY reason this figure is not terribly high on my collectibles list is because it's a bit redundant with me personally: I already have the old RS Rush and Kotobukiya's Rock.

RS Rush? Really?

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

He has visible joints on his knees. Chances are he has full leg joints and a head joint at least, this is a Japanese figure after all and not a lazy American one with two joints.

I mean, Articulation is a must with Bandai's Poseables.

The articulation is pretty obvious on him, and im pretty sure pack in or not, if he's part of the D-Arts line, he will have decent articulation.

But I am sure he probably wont have the ability to jet morph though.

Instant buy. Seriously, he is in scale with the x series d-arts. How awesome is that?

Well, bandai is known to have interchangable features of a character, so Rush Jet IS possible, but as a seperate body in which you have to take rush apart then re-assemble, Jazwares style. I could be wrong though.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

It does look that way when you zoom in, doesn't it?  I was caught off guard by the fact that his pose is identical across the two images.

Well, we'll see.  I'm still playing catch-up with the other D-Arts figures, though; I only have Full Armor X.

Kotobukiya's Roll is probably the closest thing we have to that.  At least officially.

How can you tell? What's the scale of Mega Man to X, anyway? Were they ever pictured together? I'm not picking your post apart; I'm just so curious now.

So these D-Arts models are posable, like freely? As opposed to picking a pose and gluing? I hate sticking paper in joints.

FEELS  ;^;Which has the massive scrotums?
