FWAHAHAHA!!! I just got back from the theater! This time I went to see The Sorcerer's Apprentice! It was so freakin' awesome I can't stop shouting!

*ahem* I'm calm now.

Anyway, yeah, it was an epic movie. My recommendation is to buy it when it comes out on DVD, Bluray, or whatever the hell people are watching movies on when it comes out. They throw is several references to the short, some very subtle, others as subtle as a brick through a window.

I've never heard Tekken said so many times in two minutes.
Hoping it'll be good. And at least have different locales than a cage.

...it won't. It's a videogame movie, and it's not made by an incredibly reputable director/company or anything.

Ah, Inception was amazing.
I nice blend of action and a good story.
And even though that ending never answered itself, I don't feel the least bit angry at it.

So I just got finished watching the new A-Team movie. After watching the first season of the show, I became intrigued. And honestly, I was surprised. It was great. Captured the feel of the show. Explosions, flipped cars, crazy plans, crazy plans that don't go AS planned, character points (B.A. being afraid of flying, for instance), all was faithful. It was the same basic story (four commandos escape from max security prison after being put there for a crime they didn't commit, and are chased by sum noob named Lynch) with a few extra things tacked on. Sure, a female chasing them may seem dumb at first, but by the end of the movie it feels natural. Everything clicks, and it's awesome. Hell, they even reference the Lynch from the show early on. Sadly, I didn't see the return of original Face and Murdock, but then again, I didn't exactly obtain it legally. Eh, no matter. It was still awesome. If you're a fan of the original series, then I recommend the movie. Updated for modern times, it still catches the feel. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

Also, saw Toy Story 3. Cried during the whole last half hour; it was a perfect way to end the trilogy.

I got around to watching Terminator Salvation today.

It wasn't that bad. But then again I never saw any of the other Terminator movies (To be fair, I did see the ending to Judgement Day when my parents were watching it, and I watched about 80% of the original with no sound at my grandpa's house, due to him wearing headphones while watching TV.)

I generally thought it was good, and loved the cameo. But my main complaint is that it all felt like a huge wasteland with a few dumb old machines walking about. The old movies showed it as a huge, full-on war, constantly being waged. This just seems like a minor guerrilla conflict. The humans would have won long ago.

To be honest, I expected more Terminators...

And holy crap, the T-600's Rubber Skin... Its just plain freaky, a really disturbing effect that worked nicely.

I haven't seen it yet, but the rubber skin is canon. Reese mentions it in the first movie how they could spot them easy. It was the 800 models, like Arnold in the first movie, that were really hard to spot, since they looked flawless.

I know, i just mentioned it was a real good effect. Really...freaky looking, since they didn't even bother to mask the eyes or mouth, So the effect was very uncanny, you would only possibly be fooled if you saw them from behind, where it just looks like a bald guys head.

I went to see The Expendables last night.  Our closest theatre was showing it in their 21+ only theatre, where the patrons could drink while watching the movie!
