For what it's worth I LOVE Dynasty Warriors Gundam. Not so much the main DW series though. For me the Gundam spinoff series added a LOT to the game, like dash boosting/cancelling, flying, transformation modes, etc.

I'm expecting to like Hyrule Warriors too, since it has sub weapons and things like HOOKSHOT-ING A DRAGON IN THE FACE CHAINING INTO AN AIR COMBO. That gets me hype.

Playing Hexen II, with the Necromancer class. Seems the game I downloaded lacks music.

Fear me.

So Lords of the Fallen is pretty good

It really is like a modified souls clone.

It even has a Dark Souls control scheme available from the default.

Gameplay feels more visceral than souls. combat definitely feels better.

I like the bosses, though they aren't exactly tough.  Worshipper has got to be my favorite so far. Spooky graveyard and Scythe and [parasitic bomb].  Overall, it really feels like a good ol' videogame.

It does have problems though. It uses Physx, and forces it on other cards outside of nvidia.

So if you use AMD you need to disable physx in the .ini settings. Same place where you can define your desired framerate.

Which is a neat feature.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Played FNaF with the kids.  They claim that they weren't scared, yet they didn't want to go to bed.

The kids met Foxy on the first night.  Then on the second night, they met Bonnie, who was lurking outside the office.  They only saw Bonnie for a split second as I slammed that door shut.  Later, Bonnie jammed the door and Foxy got in.

When Bonnie is staring at the camera backstage. ._.

Been playing Bayonetta 2.

and it is [tornado fang]ing AWESOME!!!

the coop mode is also alot more fun that I expected it to be, and a good way to earn alot of Halos (given you or your partner don't die on the higher difficulties, where the real halos are at.)

Did they jump up in their seats when they played it? That's a good indication of whether they were scared or not.

They jumped. XD

They still say it wasn't scary.

Welcome to De Nile, kids.

Bayonetta 2.

This game's presentation is breathtaking. Maybe coming from the crappy PS3 port of the original has something to do with it, but yeah. Beautiful art, music and locations. I'm really impressed by the solid framerate and how the game does whatever it wants with scale and size. There's always a ton of things happening during combat and in the background, and the game does not stutter for one second (so far at least).

I haven't played too many 2014 releases, but this one is easily shaping up to be my favorite. Can't wait to play some more later tonight.

Finished Bayonetta 2 and I'm already 1/3 through 3rd Climax (Hard mode).

What an amazing game.

Finished Bayonetta. The final boss was surprisingly a breeze. Like, waaaay too easy, unlike the overall game, which was pretty difficult.

Now, I'm playing Bayonetta 2. Right from the start, I can tell the visuals are much more crisp and smooth than the first game. The animation seems to be more impressive, as well.

I downloaded both Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

I'm a bit more invested in FC3 than I thought I would be. I thought it would feel as boring and generic as both FC1 and Crysis. They streamlined most of the annoying stuff though so I guess that's why I think it's more tolerable though.

FC3:BD is clearly the last good thing Ubisoft will have ever done though. I love it.

I will admit Blood Dragon is a good time, and it doesn't overstay its welcome either.

At least you were able to wrangle the wild beast that is u(-shall-not-be-able-to-)Play(-this-game-ever). Got the damn games into uPlay, and the necessary patches or whatever to play in Offline Mode, but it decides to kill FC3 and say to go back online to work again.

If I had paid more than the few dollars I did for the franchise pack, I would actually be upset and complaining, but nope, I don't even.

God forbid I try to install Blood Dragon.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

I played two hours of Assassin's Creed Unity and uninstalled it.

I have been playing Far Cry 4 since yesterday though and it's not bad.

Yes. I torrented both of them.

Uh, I torrented those too. I considered buying both of them on Steam since they were on sale but then I saw they use uPlay and I was like "uh nope".

Buy the steam releases but play the torrented copies?

Seems like a better choice than not at all purchasing them.

>giving ubishit my money

no thanks

I usually end up buying all the games I torrent (IE Half-Life series, Metro 2033/Last Light, Fallout NV/Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Bioshock series, BlazBlue to name a few that I've torrented then bought), but until Ubisoft gets its [parasitic bomb] together and becomes a company I'm willing to support, they don't get a cent of my money, even for their older titles that don't suck.
