Topic: The Boktai Thread

There's a thread for every other series, why not have one for this one? Mainly, I need help on Shinbok. First off, there's a room I can't seem to enter in Pirate Island. It's next to the room with the Warp Magic Square, but I can't find an entrance. And how do I find Snake? I read you need a Red Mushroom, and to use it in the Ancient Tree, but I can't find one of those. Any help at all for me?

Strangely enough, I was thinking of making this thread myself.

I love these games. Got the Boktai3 translation patch some time ago (thanks HuffnPuff).
Lunar Knights was... kinda lackluster compared to the first three.

I agree, but we still need a sequel to it. I'd be happy with ANY new BnT game tbh, and I'd love if Konami did something like a compilation of the first 3 for the DS.

The Boktai series is absolute sex!

Boktai 2 was my personal favorite. Though I wasn't to crazy about Lunar Knights, I mean, It wasn't a bad game but, It felt shorter and duller than Boktai ever was. My expectations were a lot higher for Lunar Knights.

Boktai 2 was my personal favorite.

High five! Boktai 2 is the only game I've ever bothered to upgrade all of my weapon stats to 99 (getting all stats to 99 is impossible) and get (close) to level 99 without getting bored.

Well I've solved my problems. To get to the area in the Ancient Tree, you need a Red Mushroom. To get that, go to the Lifeless Town during the night, use the Warp Magic Square, and go to where GariGari boy is. Snake will be there, and he sells Red Mushrooms. Go back to the Ancient Tree, and to the second room on the way to the Red Key. There will be a hole. Use the 'shroom to find Snake yet again, after solving a block puzzle to get to him. The Earth Warp Square, as I read on the Boktai equivalent of RPM, is accessible after getting 210,000+ Soll on playthrough 2+. For the room in Pirate's Island, use the Warp Magic Square and then a Red Mushroom. Discovery? GariGari guy or Snake, depending on the time. Hope that helps!
