Ooh I see~ Well, it looks pretty coal to me =w= Except for the whole contrasty thing. The black of the sky (even though skies aren't usually black, but I digress) blends into the black of the logo and it makes it all meld-y into the background-y. I'd much rather it stood out =w= My suggestion is a lighter gradient on your logo in general. From like, amazingly light grey/white to mid-grey or so~

Are you using the same type of music you show here for that album? Because the sky kinda makes me think of a relaxing music type of album, which I'm guessing is not what you are wanting to show. The sky also really contrasts with the hard edges of the logo. I'd either ditch the background completely for a solid dark color (or black) or make some background to go along with the logo, some sharp shapes and soft lines are the first things that comes to mind.

As for the logotype, is the x supposed to be pixelated? Besides that, it looks pretty cool I must say.
