Honestly, Archery alone was worth the price of admittance. It was just so unexpectedly good.

Is that the newest Wii game that was released? The one with shooting baskets and stuff?

Yeah, that's the one with MotionPlus.

Yes it is.  I love it!  I also love 100 Pin Bowling too.  I like my Bowling Average to be 1600!   8D

Oh, and Halo 3 is all types of fun because of JEEP ACTION!  8)

I just realized that I don't play a lot of online games.

Yeah, that's the one with MotionPlus.
Does MotionPlus make that big of a difference? One of my biggest beefs with the Wii was the shoddy motion-sensing.

In my opinion, very [tornado fang]ing yes. XD

The leap in quality is very noticeable and real. Thing about it is, currently the only games of note that are using it are two EA Sports titles (Tiger Woods 10 Wii & Grand Slam Tennis) and Wii Sports Resort. Out of those 3 I can only recommend WSR just because of the diversity. It might however be a hit or miss for some folk because of the brevity of the gameplay if you don't intend on playing it regularly.

Is MotionPlus backward compatible?

No sadly. Which is why I'm really hoping more people come on board and start making some wacky stuff using it. Wii Sports Resort really made a great stride forward with motion controls. I'll be pissed if no one else picks up from there though.

I thought that MotionPlus required buying new stuff--like new Wiimotes and stuff... If that's true, then it not being backward compatible kinda sucks.

Ah, no, it works with whatever Wii Remotes you have available currently. WSR has one packed in, as do the other titles I mentioned earlier.

Then what is it? A new sensor bar or something?

It attaches to the bottom of the Wii-Remote where the Nunchuck normally connects

I see. So does it have another connector at the bottom of it for the nunchuk?

Yes

Previous games can't use it because they weren't programmed to.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Well, if it's like that, it isn't as big of a problem. At least I know how it works now.

Muramasa is having a release party at Nintendo World on Sat, Sept. 5th.  I need to figure out how I can get that game.

Speaking of M+, Nintendo should let you play Resort without it, not only for multiplayer purposes (I want to shoot down my brother from the sky with my Mii D:), but also so that you can feel the difference even more.

I only has a Nintendo DS Lite.
Sad, I wish I could play some of these new games, but I'm still stuck in last generation console gaming...and by that I mean I barely ever touch my Ps2 anymore.

FFFFF

Now I don't know what to do. I still haven't preordered it yet and I really wanted the wall scroll.

I have only a DS lite, and that's all I really need.
Maybe I'll get a Wii someday, but first I should completely rearrange my small room.

I have most of the current gen (PS3, Wii, DS (no DSi though), PSP Slim, to name a few) but I don't have a 360. I also got most of the past consoles too.. except to name a few, Amiga, Atari and SNES (also the more rarer ones, meaning I can get only those that were in my reach). Care to say that I'm a console hunter?  XD

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

There's so much I want to say to you people for supporting those terrible games but I just can't bring myself to care

This! THIS!

Except I do care. :'( I want my fun Sonic back. Sonic Adventure 2 is 33% good, now Unleashed is 50%, so I guess the next game will feature an annoying gimmick that you'll be forced to endure for 1/3 of the game, bringing the overall 3D series quality to a 66% landmark!

I would very much like some good ol' 16-bit Sonic, with the Yamaha YM2612 sound.
