Heys! Zynk here! I'm currently doing my ROM hack project where I replace Rockman with his sister, Roll! <3

Rockman Series / What is the official Year of Classic universe is in?

According to Rockman 2 & 4, its YEAR 200X;
While Rockman 5 to 7, its YEAR 20XX.
Idk with RM8, 9 & 10. RM1 & 3 doesn't mention anything in-game.
The same goes with the US version on all above mentioned.
Any ideas?  ::)

@Mirby: I figured that that link is very relevant to the game's translation! Even though some of the dialogue in the game I made up for plot reference, like Blues in Shademan's stage.

I'm glad a few liked the hack! It's for Rockman's/Megaman's 25th Anniversary!

I week ago I released a rom patch for the English translation for Rockman 7 Shukumei no Taiketsu[eyebrow]

I need feedback on either graphics and grammar (although the grammar may be limited to the number of tiles a letter or word that could fit in a given hex spaces in the rom; meaning compensated bad grammar for lack of text space).  :|

And if any of the admin here would like to add this to the Hacks/Bootlegs section of RPM, I would really appreciate it.  *o*
Though THAT sections seems bit inactive/neglected up until now (lol what's that "Introduction Write text here" all about). -AC

Done updating Flamenco's info. Wow, I haven't think of putting Gothica as "dandere". Although there's a slight differences between "kuudere" and "dandere".

Anyways, who wants to modify Gothica's sprite?

I agree with Rage, Gothica is suitable as a dandere, I think most goth girls do  -u-'

ITT Gothica's design is too elaborate, maybe set a simple design to fit her in 8-bit. Why not use Stocking Anarchy as an example? Although she's not really a dandere.

@Maine: Flamenco's 8-bit sprites are cool, erh--hawt!  8B

Heys! Just a thought and not want to askew the progress of this project... anyways, the Rockman Killers (RKs) as they are named from music genres, maybe you guys are taking the RKs design to literal. As with Enker, Quinto, Punk and Ballade (note also Blues), their designs are nowhere near what their names literally mean.  B(

As for the story on WHY Wily made RKs initially is to KILL Rockman, why does he have to design them like they'll be performing a music/dance showdown; maybe if Wily swiped these robots and reprogrammed them to become RKs, then that will be acceptable.  -AC

Please treat this opinion of mine as a constructive criticism. I truly like this project made and wish to contribute on concept art esp. the females.

btw, I like Flamenco, maybe have her flaming hair on off-mode when not in-use. And make her a tsundere. *o*

Just finished SDPUp!  ~w~  

The game ran smoothly this time; no glitches and the BGM didn't falter! I got a bit frustrated on the Yellow-Devil stage where you need to jump most of the time on time-bombs and trap doors!

I was able to find all the 4 parts plus the EXIT and Megaman & Protoman. I feel like I missed 1 more item, because there is a blank space next to Protoman's icon.
I'm wondering if there's someone else on that spot?

Btw, I noticed CutmanFusion shoots the Rolling Cutters with an Arm Cannon instead of throwing it; that doesn't look right at all IMHO.  >^<  

EDIT: AH! I almost forgot about the Challenges! This could be tough...  O:<

@JC: :cookie: Thanks! That worked! Now for Hard Mode... for later.

@Blyka: For SD2, I just zip/unzip the files then most of the music is retained  :) but some of Wily Castle music is none, i.e. the first fight with Bass and with Wily himself.

As for now, I'm at SDPUp & the zip/unzip/delete/copy-paste-saves worked with retaining BGM in the game!  owob

SDPUp feels much more like Megaman2! Neat! Btw sometimes I get this window with Nosefart, but that's from the un/zip trick & gone (atm).

I just discovered your game just today! Seeing that this is SD2, I first played SD1. SD1 has its annoying glitches like jumping in between platforms, AND I'm bad at games with a keyboard. I'm glad SD2 has gamepad option, it made playing... less hard.

If you may, I have a couple of Questions for you that need answers:
1) How do I use the DARKCHIP plates? I just finished SD2 in normal mode and I got this message: [spoiler]press Awesome and Pwnd button on center stage select screen[/spoiler], but the game won't exit to title screen or stage select so I hit Esc (I think nothing happens when I did the aforementioned afterwards);

2) Do I have to finish it on hard mode to see the effects of the darkchip? I'm intimidated with the difficulty of normal mode  ;^;

3) This maybe just my personal opinion: I liked how XFusion works here. But ITT ShadowFusion should have made Danny's movements quicker like Quickman in SD1 (though SkullFusion has this quickness, but why not Ninja-ShadowFusion?)

4) Is there sliding in mid-air in SD2? Because I see some areas where this could be possible with items insight.

5) I have a problem with the BGM of SD2 and SDPUp. At first time I played SD2, I had BGM, then I lost it when I reached Wily stage then the whole game lost its BGM. This happened also with SDPUp, no BGM but the game works fine (haven't played SDPUp atm). Do you know how to restore the games music? I tried SD1, it has BGM btw.

That's all from me! I'll just try SDPUp some other day coz I'm pooped from SD2.

@SonicZH: Could you rephrase the title 'STREET FIGHTER X MEGAMAN" to "MEGAMAN VS STREET FIGHTER" when it will be released through Capcom Unity?  >^<

After all, the host game is MEGAMAN & not STREET FIGHTER. Capcom announced the game as "STREET FIGHTER X MEGAMAN" , IMHO it's not right to put STREET FIGHTER on the title first!

Please read this post! You're the creator of the game, right? Fix the title, please!!  :W
