Original / JEWEL SATELITE IS THE BEST SHIELD WEAPON EVER!
« on: November 17, 2008, 10:28:18 PM »
I just got around to playing MM9 last week (getting 46% in my first two playthroughs >.> bah, challenges >.>)
And I immedeatly noticed the awesomeness that is Jewel Satelite, a Shield weapon that can take good damage (like no other), can be fired but can also be carried (like Star Crash).
OH, AND IT [tornado fang]ing REFLECTS SHOTS!!! TAKE THAT MACHINE GUN JOE, MUHAHAHAHA XD

While Leaf Shield was a very effective weapon (for erradicating moles and whatnot) it didn't serve as well as a shield, seeing as you have to stand still with it..Star Crash dissapates with a single hit...as do Plant Barrier, Skull Barrier...

Yeah, I freaking love Jewel Satelite. debate shield weapons here.

ZX / Re: ZX References

Shame on all of you for not noticing/mentioning the Shisaroid's Geminiman~Split Mushroom attack pattern.

Albert's ascension video vaguely reminds me of Elpis' becoming a devil, visually.
Some of Serpent's attacks look like Elpis' attacks, and then there's the obvious Ragnarok Reference attack.

I would mention more, if I wasn't such a lazy bastard.

Original / Re: Bubble Lead, or Bubble Lead?
« on: November 17, 2008, 08:10:10 PM »
I'm amazed that this is still an issue...RM2 itself already gave a conclusive answer on this, back in 1988 >.>

ofcourse, given if you can't read katakana and download/purchase RM2, you can still convince yourself those bubbles are made of led, even when there is NO VISUAL inclination for it to be so >.>

If the bubbles would be made of lead...don't you think they would have been GREY instead of transparant >.>

Volteel Biblio: possibly none

I thought MMZOCW stated it was based on the "tuna" god of...I believe inuit, but my memory fails me.

What also might help, Harpuia is an original japanese word for Harpy.

ZX / Re: What Do You Want to See in a ZX3?
« on: November 17, 2008, 07:15:28 PM »
K4 is over N1? really? hm... got to check that map more often...

Actually it's next to/near area N, people tend to forget that ZX's map is based on a 3D model.

Double Jump chip is a must.

abso-freakin-lutely

What about Heart Tanks,

What about Life Ups? they are already in ZX >.>

Also, Model O, Model Overrated >.>
