When I've seen this topic on other boards, they usually try for something funny or silly, not actual game/collection challenges. With that in mind...

If you need to reach something up high and your first instinct is to call your dog and jump on his back, you might be a Rockman fan.
If you think construction helmets can block anything, you might be a Rockman fan.
If you've ever put a cup on your hand and pretended it was a gun, you might be a Rockman fan (or a Samus fan, or...)
If you think spinning with your fists out will stop a ninja in his tracks, you might be a Rockman fan.
If you think giving your sister screws and watching her change clothes is A-Okay, you might be a Rockman fan (or live in a very secluded community).
If you think bubbles can be made out of lead, you might be a Mega Man fan.
If you think bubbles will lead your way, you might be a Rockman fan.
If you routinely jump and slide through doorways you enter, you might be a Rockman fan.
If you think modern robots evolved from cro-magnon bots, you might be a Mega Man cartoon fan.
If you change your clothes every time you pick up a new item, you might be a Rockman fan.
If you've ever fought for everlasting peace, you might be a Rockman fan.

In D1 Barrel is 65, Teisel is 29, and Bon is 3. So as far as Teisel's birth in relation to Barrel and Verner's exploits 30 years prior to D2, it would conceivably be right around the time of Teisel's birth. Personally I'd think he was born a little bit after.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. He's not just some nobody exactly, his name does appear in the credits of the game, even though it's nothing to do with the programming or making of it. Being part of the company does give him a unique vantage point to have been informed or discovered whatever this secret is. And I have no problem believing that there is still something about the game we have yet to discover. Or even many somethings.

That said, I greatly doubt that this secret he has in mind is anything earth-shatteringly amazing. I don't expect a secret boss or new mode or amazing contra code that gives you items during time attack runs. I'm thinking this thing is probably something small along the lines of "Oh, hey, that's a kinda neat little easter egg there."

Gotta love this vintage stuff.

The several months after R4 was for Soccer. Rockboard's story doesn't include date references, or events, or even much of a plot for that matter.  I don't think it's intended to be a real occurance in the canon, but if one wanted to put it somewhere it would at least have to go after the relevant characters were introduced.

About the placement of the PC games, if one considers that Rush is on the box art even though he's not in the game itself, it could really go either way  on its placement before or after R3 depending on what one wants to consider relevant.

I'm surprised the boss damage chart isn't finished... was this from an old backup? I'm pretty sure the other Wily 9b and Capsule values are all 1, except for Plug Ball, which nets 3 damage on the Capsule.

Not being able to choose what direction you want to throw the Jewel Satellite is my only complaint, although admittedly there aren't too many places one would really need to do that in the game.

And also I guess, that I feel like an idiot when I miss Plug Man with it, since there's only enough energy for the exact right amount of hits. Usually happens when I'm not paying much attention, and I wind up having to scramble for some other weapon. And of course that it won't repel Wily's attacks, but that would be making things too unfair I suppose. I'm not really complaining about these things, just reminiscing.

Otherwise, J. Satellite is golden.

Laevatein is Ragnarok's sword-shaped core. The control room where Zero fought Craft was where the control module for Laevatein was operated and regulated from.

What I said. The track description is very clear that Laevatein is the sword-core thing. The control room is where it can be interfaced with, without plugging yourself in. Probably a bad analogy, but if it were a starship like the Enterprise, using computers they run the ship's functions from the main deck, but the actual means which perform these tasks are in other places, computing and engineering decks and what have you.

I remember Kamrous is was from Ainu culture.

I really wonder what the significance of the cactus is, if it's a myth somewhere or just pop culture or what. Dash and ZX also have talking cactus references. Amingo of MvC2, who seems to be a kind of guardian of nature. You'd think there'd be an origin somewhere, but I don't know what it is.

I was a bit disappointed with their representations of Eden. Instead of the large white satellite with the glowing eye they referred to the obelisk it released as Eden itself (although, maybe it is, and the other satellite is just some kind of attachment thing). The docking bay looked the same as Elysium's, and the control room's design was a little bit bland.

The things I remember them changing as far as Dash was concerned was making the air pirates into space pirates infamous across many planets, giving the rebuilt Gesellschaft interstellar travel capability, and likewise the ruins into deep space ruins.

You know I don't think I ever actually beat the game, I got bogged down trying to level up all my characters by repeating stages over and wound up losing my interest in it. I should pick it up again sometime.
