Specifically, they just don't WANT you to do so. The hard drive can be physically accessed, but unlike the PS4's, it's buried deep in the system and it's a pain in the ass to get to. Also opening the console in any way voids the warranty but that should be obvious.

I can tell the difference pretty easily, Phi--because the reflections on the new lenses distract me like a kitten chasing a laser pointer. On the other hand the anti-reflective stuff makes anything that so much as touches the lenses smear like crazy, so it's a trade-off either way, really.

Also uh, worth pointing out that if this game is to be released this summer, it's obviously already been in development for a while--possibly before the M#9 Kickstarter even occured.

You know, I have no intention of transferring my Wii's homebrew stuff to the Wii U. Seems like too much of a hassle for no benefit. I'll just hang on to the Wii since I use it as a Gamecube anyway.
