I really like the Hotel, makes me feel bad for my own fortress  XD

Maybe Waltz will work as a maid in the hotel  >w<

Upgraded version of Napalm Man? Can there be RM more awesome than that? Only pity is that he was destroyed by the power of random  XD

Anime & Manga / Re: Gundam Unicorn

I watched Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ recently and I really love that they returned to UC.

This first episode was really satisfiing, it had it's good moments and it's corny moments (that classic "I want to protect person I've just met for no apparent reason"), but it all worked great together. The music was also great and at the end I had that "this is epic" feeling (you know, shivering and that unidentified feeling in throat). All and all I am looking forward to next episode.

That's a lot of fish... I mean text..
And I really liked it.
It is funny to see, how this is turning more into Ace Attorney thread  XD, but it is good to see, that at least Vixy gave some useful info.

Original / Re: The OVA's Discussion
« on: February 21, 2010, 09:27:10 PM »
Well I watched the the classic series OVA really long while back, but I remember that it wasn't really that bad.
More than OVAs I would appriciate a full anime series following MM1-"wherever megaman will end?" maybe?  '>.>
But I don't think this will ever happen, because anime nowdays is all about those lame ecchi harem animes that people still watch for some reason.
And if they ever wanted to do these series they would probably already done so.

If not for the color I would tell that Perfume Woman is Curling Woman  XD
As for the Opera woman, I like both of the versions, only at the second one I think adding hair, like at the first one would help it.

As for the idea
I agree with KudosForce. But still it would be funny to see Megaman's reactions on some of the robot mistresses  8D
I really like Sawman's current sprite

And will there be Magic and Trap Cards too?  XD
And those arts on those cards once again reminds me, that it would be nice to find someone who can do those for NT too XD

School Girl, maybe?  XD After all, I think school themed stage is something new.

I was thinking about Tsundere Woman too, but that's just ridiculous  XD

Rockman Series / Your favourite and least favourite Megaman game
« on: February 13, 2010, 11:28:34 AM »
I got this idea for a topic and thought it could be interesting, hopefuly it is not already somewhere around here, because in that case I couldn't find it  XD

Anyway, you know that there are Megaman games you like to play and return to them over and over again, and there might be games, you just played and said "meh". I pretty much can see, that everyone will put X7 on their least favourite, but at least try to pick something else sometimes  XD

Favourite: Megaman 5
Maybe the reason could be, that I grew up with it and the fact that the game itself is quite easy, so I keep returning to it and searching for things I can challenge myself with.

Least favourite:
Megaman ZX Advent
Not really that bad, but I just felt empty after beating it and from about half of the game onwards it wasn't really challenging but mostly just frustrating. The last level expecially made me go nuts with that last segment before final boss, and when I got to it I had already 0 lives from those spikes so you can probably imagine what came next  XD

haha, hey thanks for that! The colors look much better, I acknowledge that. There are still some things I like better in my interpretation.
The only thing which can help us solve the problem...is math.

I thing the last one probably has the green too bright, imho.

I think I like the Nebula's one the best colorwise, it also has nice details on it.

Ahahaha! What? I've never claimed to be best.
But still you are probably one of the best spriters I've seen so far.
Definetely many levels above me, that's for sure.  XD

In the knockback thing, do you mean more time of being flashing? Or more time moving forward?
Well I played Megaman X again just to make sure. It seem that when X gets hit he moves backwards about twice the lenght then you have right now, the blinking time from what I counted seems to be alright.
But I can now get things only from how they look in the video, so it would be good, if you after some time, when the engine alone will be done, post an executable so people could try how it works first hand. This way they might give you more suggestions on what could be changed.

With that said I have interest. MMX is much harder to make than classic Megaman, because of things like dash, walljumping and over all the spriting is much harder. And this looks promising as far as the physics go so far.

From what I could get for now.
One thing would be that the buster shots are appearing maybe little too low and inside the buster. So moving them little higher and little forward from the buster would be nice. Other thing, at least what it seems to me, is that in your last video if you walljump too fast he has the grabing animation little before touching the wall.
And maybe the knockback could be little longer.

That would be just evil, poor little thing would have problems through it's entire life.
But I guess whipper is also not really attractive name  XD

She looks really cute  :3 *gets burned to crisp by fireball*
Also now it's obvious why Megaman can't take care of it this time. Because if he tried he would probably end up getting oil nose bleeds on every step. XD

I am glad that I inspired someone :)
Also I really like look of the stage, with all that lava in background, lava below it really looks like there is a lot happening and
it gives that feeling of danger.

Original / Re: Megaman 9 & 10 are just ripping off
« on: February 02, 2010, 10:28:11 PM »
They all belong into same franchise that is not really called ripping off as far as I know it is just reusing already set ideas and it doesn't happen just with MM9 and 10.
I don't really see problem, given that this happens in many different franchises.

No prob, you are helping me too.  :)

That Mirror Joe looks neat. I hate reflecting projectiles  XD

Buzz man's bossroom looks great too. Only one thing that looks little odd is the door. This way it seems like it is too much in the front and not on the same level as walls or little behind, this is probably made by how the top of the door meets with the wall.
That or I am blind.  XD

Yeah it really reminds me of that casino stages in Sonic.
I think like this it looks impressive, also I suppouse that neon rectangle is on same level as platforms and not in the background, right?
If yes, it looks little mystifying at first because it has same color as the background buildings.

Also my bet is on
Casino Night from Sonic 2
Don't worry I am also big art noob.  XD Well if I want and give it a little time and effort I can make at least little decent drawings on paper, but I am hopeless with coloring in programs like photoshop and such, maybe if I had tablet.
For example those two pictures of Mantis Woman and Rocket Man I made, I pretty much sketched them on paper and than overdrew them in paint.  XD

I thought that the story would be something like this, nice way to get even Bass involved into this teamwork.
As for the picture, I wish I could make something that good  ;O;

Rockman Series / Re: Your easiest and hardest Megaman Game
« on: January 30, 2010, 02:59:58 AM »
Easiest- Megaman 5, unless you decide not to use charging, seriously charged buster is a beast there and kills all the challenge.
Hardest- Megaman X6, after all that time I still can't beat Nightmare Mother  -_-

Could say ZX Advent too, but it's difficulty was in all those cheap one-hit kill places than in anything else.
