I wonder why no one posted THIS.
It has got the highest amount of RobotMasters and uses FAKE 8-Bit.
It also has got "Complete Works"-like music and uses hilarious cameos and easter eggs.

Wow, I guess I'm the only one here who didn't really like it?

Rock and Blues are mere afterthoughts in this short story and I'm left to wonder why they were even included at all.  It's just "Bass kills everything the end".  I liked that Forte cared about Gospel, but it seemed kinda like rushed fanfiction to me.  Maybe the dialogue will save it if it gets translated.  But I doubt it.
Well, and I seems to be the only MegaMan Fan, that couldn't find that at all...
...but NOW I have found out, where, how Hadrian would say, "that hack gets all of it's junk together".
But all the jokes beside, I would really buy the Image Soundtrack buy it, if it would be at least Engrish.
I mean, Ariga is known for "MegaMan Megamix" (I really want a translation) and thanks to the booklet,
I could at least try to translate the names of the enemies. Well, the manga is, thankfully, translated already.

P.S.: Hey Gauntlet, never knew you were a member in that forum. I only knew you as ShadowMan from the Mechanical Maniacs.
P.P.S.: Yep, I used a qoute from MMM, just to introduce my wish that HardMan should make a MMM2.

I have around 56 maps done out of potentially 80 total maps. I also have a few maps partially done.
Enemies is hard to tell, I got over 45 enemies including variations and return enemies from the original games. There are still many areas lacking enemies but I have plenty pending sprite sheets waiting to get coded into the game.

guys, i really need to say this now, im glad for all the support i be given with the project, even tough is little, but i cant seem to go any further right now, i really dont want to cancel the whole thing because this is one of my dreams, but i really cant stand how incredibly laggy and slow my computer is, and really it seems that for the most part, i feel alone in making the assets like tilessets and sprites, and on top on that, my computer cant run the engine for testing, so what's the point.

im sorry about this, i need to get a much better computer guys, and the truth is, i dont have a job, and because of how slow and pasmatic my machine is, i spend whole day on the computer and do little within the poject and other things, i cant stand this anymore.

please guys, forgive me for this, i also was not satisfied with the look of most of my tiles because i saw those, and they dont seem to fit a megaman game.


im sorry about this guys, i promise the project will come back not so long in the future when i get done with the things in my life, and better organize this thing, because i know that most people are already bussy with his other pojects, i really dint want to do this,  :'(m but right now the situation gave me no option.

ill still interact within the group of this forum, and i want to thank everyone who gave me support

UPDATE: hey guys after thinkin a bit more, i decided that the project is not officially canceled, but im not going to post anything unless i actually have done something that could be considered a real update, and that's not gonna happen until i get a better computer so i can translate all my assets to the engine and start working on the levels and time, in the meantime i need to work on other things and get a job guys.

so for now, the project is locked until new announcement, thanks for your attention.
Wow, never knew that you have a laggy computer, too.
Well, just like Krys, good luck getting a better computer...or even better, a notebook!

I also have an idea of HOW the Wily Machine would work.
It's made of an skull-shaped cockpit (like all the other WMs) with a drill on the skull and two drills.
The drills are connected to the skulls thanks to one "arm" for each drill.
These "arms" are harmless, while the drills...
My idea is the this WM comes out of the ground, just like DrillMan.
And this WM can use its drills as "DrillBombs". And because of their size, they make a big explosion!

Okay, NOW I confused.
Who's behind this actually?
Well...MegaMan would prefer Dr Wily.
Why? Because he have stopped him a whopping 18 times (including the RockMan World games, RockMan MegaWorld and MegaMan Soccer),
and he can also do it the 19th time...
Well, for the Wily Machine, I think it can resemble either DrillMan's or GroundMan's head.
Just like MM8-Wily Machine resembles MetalMan's and MM10-Wily Machine PirateMan's head.

another question guys, i was thinkin, should i put Tamure and maker her the Boss of the Stage and change her Name to Luau Woman as opposed to Volcano, or should i keep her as an alt Boss?.

1. Who is Tamure? I don't remember you talked about Tamure...

Here's a quick mm5 style set I whipped together in the last 10 minutes:



This is pretty heavily based off mm5, but if you give me a job to do I can probably make it more original to fit that given stage (seeing as this was just freehand to see if I could do mm5 style).
Reminds me of Dar...I mean...ProtoMan's 3rd Stage.

There are two other MegaMan games named like official ones (MegaMan 16 & 17), but they're MM8-styled.

Luckily, his MegaMan fangame, "MegaMan TT: The Fight for History", uses MM5-styled tiles.


Don't get angry about it Mex! It is a re-used enemy after all, I wouldn't show off our original enemies.

Also we are now going down on MM5 style of graphics. Which means there we will be using maximum potential of NES limits. ANIMATED TILES!! (We will be using both palette change trick animations like MM2's BG animations and direct sprite animations like of NapalmMan stage's trees and Gyro Man's tiles.)

Ok guys, i have to say it now, i need help with the tiles graphics, while i can make them and edit them trough a certain extent, i wanted to look in the same level of detail of the Megaman 5 & 6 Tiles, cause i dont have much time to do it by myself, specially considering that i been using the same old computer that is slow as hell, and i cant run the engine to test the levels, so, in order for the project, i probably dint asked this before, but....

Who can join the project?

the only other persons who have contributed somehow are KudosForce (Story) and Nebula Black (allowed me to use some old tiles of his).

right now i need someone who can help me with the tiles, cause i dont know if hbnf2 can help me

Yep, you're right.
The best Hard Hat game at the moment is Hard Hat 3.
One of the reasons is the costumizable music.

This link contains the first trilogy of the Hard Hat games, where you play a disgrunted Metool.

Story of "HH1: The Rebellion":
"Mega Man was fighting against Metal Man and lost to him (cause Metal Man is bad ass).  At the same time Hard Hat is getting PO’d at Dr. Wily because the Doc isn’t taking him seriously.  Once Dr. Wily demands that Hard Hat gets him a drink double H decides that he has had enough and leaves to go see Dr. Light.  Turns out Dr. Light needs a new “hero” since Mega Man is down and double H fits that role perfectly!"

Story of "HH2: War Ensemble":
"A NEW RIVAL HAS ARRIVED!
Hard Hat, do you hear me? A scientist called Dr. X created 8 mechanoids to destroy my robots.
You better stop him, 'cause you on his list, too. I created the new Jet Sled for you.
Good Luck, Hard Hat. This was Dr. Wily, over and out."

Story of "HH3":
"Hard Hat is pretty PO’d at Dr. Wily again.  Double H has more than proven himself as a worthwhile robot and Dr. Wily is still making robots.  If that wasn’t enough, Dr. Wily calls these new Robot Masters as his “best creations”!  NOW Hard Hat is really angry and heads out to destroy these best creations."

To me, it looks kind of like he just grabbed all the charas from the net and pasted them into M.U.G.E.N.
Which is not much of a "Progect".
Jewelman, SkullMan and PharaohMan seems to be original.
Especially JewelMan, 'cause he's ugly...
