I was viewing the stolen thread, thought about sharing my work, then my mind blanked out and hit reply instead of new topic. Post by: itoshinojjp on January 05, 2009, 12:42:10 AM: Oddest thing... since mentioning the scanner.. I decided to give it one last shot before I tossed in the garbage. Seems the cable I was using was a USB 1.1 cable before. It was a Canon LiDE 35 scanner which means it's USB powered. The cable I had just wouldn't agree with it. So I swapped out the cable for a USB 2.0 cable and all of a sudden the scanner works now. Before, it would power on when plugged in, but it refused to scan. Now it works. So yay.. no more pictures of my sketch book.
