Well this is kind of surprising.
-
Well, guess we're never getting any Atlus games in the US anymore.
That is unless they just kinda sit around as part of Sega Sammy and don't get absorbed into Sega proper.
-
I'm not familiar with Sega Sammy, what is it?
-
Sega Sammy's just a holding company. They own Sega, the game company, and Sammy, who make Pachinko machines.
Pretty much they serve the same purpose Index corporation served for their subsidiaries, Bookkeeping and money stuff. (This is what I'm led to believe, so if somebody wants to correct me feel free.)
Index wasn't doing the books the way they should have and that's why they went bankrupt.
-
Okay I'll change the title then.

Well they already had Dante in Shin Megami Tensei III Nocture.

Apparently Sega Sammy is denying the purchase... (http://www.segasammy.co.jp/japanese/ir/what/whatsnew.do?recid=2270)
