If you loved the first Mega Man X, and are waiting for the sequal, then the wait will soon be over. I found out that the next game "Mega Man X2" is going to be re-released on the Wii's Virtual Console. It will first be re-released in Japan, then America, and Europe.
The cost is too obvious, 800 Wii Points. When it does get re-released, and you do have spare 800 Wii Points, try to get it (since the Super Nintendo original cartridge is kinda rare nowadays).

Not to mention you'd be better off spending that kind of money on the X collection so you could also get the rare X3 game.

and Europe.
Does Europe even have MMX yet?

Doesn't the MMX Collection use the PS1 port of X3 instead of the original SNES version?
I want to get MMX1 on Virtual Console (especially after watching EgoRaptor's Sequelitis on Mega Man Classic VS. Mega Man X last night), it's just too bad I'm STILL saving the last 1,500 Wii Points on La-Mulana, and I doubt I'll get another point card anytime soon...

It does indeed contain the 32-bit version. Complete with anime boss intros. XD
