I need a problem of mine fixed.
My kallen doll's hands have red stains on the fingers, come to think of it, she has a red stain on her belt and on her nose as well. Does anybody know how to get these red stains off of her without ruining her hands or her eyes? [/dsi]

I wrap her in an airplane blanket, I think I accidentally wrapped her in a similar looking but different fleece blanket. I think it was unwashed so it still stained whatever it touched.

Yeah, but it's better for quiet suffocation. You see all of these movies with people killing others by stuffing a pillow on their faces. That doesn't always work in real life! You can breathe through the pillow's soft material many, many times. So you gotta go with plastic. And when the body's messy, it leaves little blood on the outside. It's a wonderful, wonderful material.

Always the option of just doing paint touch-ups. Buy some model paints in the same shades (or mix paints to get the correct shade) and just paint over the stains. Let dry for 24 hours, the doll will be good to go.

I had $500 ($400 for europe, $100 saved up allowance) because i didnt use most of it in europe (about 60 in europe.) That was a one time thing too, never happening again.Always the option of just doing paint touch-ups. wonder where i could find model paint... I could touch her shoes up as well, the paint is starting to wear off there.

Any arts and crafts store. AC Moore, Michael's, and Hooby Lobby would have it. Also, the model car section in the toy aisle at Wal-mart has Testors paint.

I used acrylic for my Lime resin model, and works out juuust great.

If the doll is resin, acrylics will adhere. However, if the doll is plastic, then acrylics will not adhere as well. I've tried paint touch-ups on various plastics with acrylics, they flake off after a while unless you apply a spray sealant, which may then give the surface a tacky feel. Model paints are made to adhere to plastic and last I checked, were a bit cheaper than acrylics. Around here, the average cost of a single tube of acrylics is about $4, whereas, if I recall, one could get a set of model paints in a variety of colours for about $8.
