Title: Mega Man 10 to be released on March 2010

Nintendo America confirmed today through his press site (http://press.nintendo.com/articles.jsp?id=21389) the official release date for Mega Man 10 for the Nintendo Wii, March 2010.

It does fit with the retro MM title pattern, though: MM9's title font is based on MM1's, while MM10's is based on MM2's.

Hmm...This, combined with MM10 getting released shortly after MM9...o~O

Perhaps this means that MM12+ may not be too far behind...[eyebrow]

I mean, it seems like not all that long ago that we were excited about Rockman 9 coming, and then here's number ten. This isn't a bad thing at all, though, although I'm hoping that they spent the time to make it a quality game, rather than simply rush something out to milk the series out some. It kind of reminds me of early-1990s when you'd see at least one major MM game per year, and I've always thought MM4-6 were just...okay. I think this game should have been made more in the R&F style, but I guess it was easier to work with what they already had?

Regardless, this title to me has a lot of potential. Perhaps it will (due to its story) give a couple more clues to the bridge between Classic and X. I also find it interesting that this story is so similar to "Super Adventure Rockman" in many ways.

While I'd probably rather see MMX9 or MML3 made before this one, I know I'll be playing it when it comes out (apparently not all that long from now!). owob

Exactly! I love this so much because it reminds me of my youth! And how excited I was whenever I saw a new MM game being announced!

Looks like Robotenza may have something to do with whatever's paid Earth a visit. (Similar to how I worked FFVII's Jenova into my MM fanon, actually...)

Also..."Threat From Outer Space"? Sounds like a Sci-fi B-Movie title, though it certainly makes things a bit more interesting, plot-wise.

That said, I noticed a preview of the fabled "Soccer goal" mini-boss.

If it's such a huge problem, why don't you just PM a RPM Soldier, or the staff?

But I assume the whole stage, and probably the RM too, is sport based.

Called Power punt.
I mean, I cant see them giving you a miniboss that REQUIRES the megaball to beat it. unless there are other ways of doing so. (he has a fist. maybe you can jump on it a la General from X4) So, a useless kick move would be in order. Miniboss provides the ball, you the kick.

I would say that the latter is most likely. After all, Light believes that there is good in all living things.

As for Mega, he takes after his creator's personality traits, so...yeah.

That said, the goalie boss looks nice, indeed.

I'm sure of something, the ball is NOT the special weapon, it's just a ball you have ''kick'' (by touching it) to hit his head , just like that game with a ball and the blocks >0< (instead of blocks, it's the mid-boss head)

RM9 Arrange Album failed to deliver. They did too much experimenting & the result was meh. There are few that is okay. But most went overboard that became unrecognizable. I just hope that they don't do the same approach with RM10 Arrange.

But if they will invite various arranger again, hope they include Nobuhiko Kashiwara. >w<
