I HAVE JUST STARTED A FANTASTIC ADVENTURE IN GPOTATO'S LATEST MMORPG LUNA ONLINE (http://luna.gpotato.com/).

Interesting note: About two years ago I was helping some people work on an MMO called 'Luna Online' It was definately not this Luna Online because the one I was working on got scrapped and it was 2D.

Oh ... this game again.
I liked this game at first, but then after i read the forums and checked for myself i kinda figured out it's just a huge grind fest as per usual.
Sure , bewbies are nice and all,but that aside not really much too keep ya going up. It didn't take long before gold sellers and server 1 was packed with bots and over priced shops showed up. Least Free Realms aren't that bad... speaking of which...

My last MMORPG is Scions of Fate, and I'm a proud healer. I went to many parties and help healing. Its a hard work, untill if I'm lvl 30, I can heal the whole party members! And why are you scared of partying?

My last MMORPG was Phantasy Star, before that was Maplestory, and even before that it was Star Wars Galaxies, and way before that was City of Heroes (characters were Godark (CoH) GaiaX6 (MS), can't access (PS, couldn't get in somehow) and I forgot (SWG). Yep).
I spent most of my time as a warrior/blaster variant on each too. Guess you could use my help with MMO expertise.
Suprising enough, I have good MMO experience with screenies of CoH, and MS. Maybe I should download LUNA Online and help out when I have the time, or after I make Dynamo. ^^;

Wow, that's a lot of MMORPG games you played.
It's hard to meet each other because of timezones and what time to online. :\ Also, I like the dating system in that game.

But yeah, If I decided to play this, this would make my fifth MMO I've played. I decided to dodge the commercialized MMOs too (Wizard 101, "CN's biggest game ever", those with advertisements, etc)

Yeah, it's nickname. I've heard some negative reviews from other MMO vets, as character made this slightly annoying "ugh" sound when they jump. And from Vixy, lag. Hopefully this one won't when I register, nor have any registration issues like PS did.

I want to know what the class system is like and what the spells are exactly. The game's by gPotato, and I grew out of FlyFF because it got boring, and I found out that Elementers sucked so all that effort was wasted.

Little of both, I'm assuming. I haven't gone very far my first time in it, so I can't say, but there seems to be a bit more than the traditional cookie-cutter MMORPG. Research it or give it whirl, might like it. And hey, Boss-chan is playing it, that's a good reason to play, ne?

EDIT: nevermind, the lag was BEYOND legendary. The amount of slowdowns was just insane. Even when I wasn't playing the game I had epic slow. Everything was fine until I installed the thing and tried to play it. The game is literally unplayable for me. I literally can't play it with the amount of lag I had. In total, the game had been installed for less than half an hour. It was THAT bad.

Oh, you think this game is bad? Then you haven't played S4 League. That game as a major issue with lag.
Well, it might not be that you and maybe your friend ain't lagging, but the opponent does. If you hold TAB while playing you can check the current score and most importantly the Ms.
Now a player with 300 MS or more is someone you can litterly do a 600 hit Combo and he still won't die. But he sure as hell can kill you.

Incidently... I experienced 0 lag and my computer is something I put together with a measly $400... AND I'm using it in Windowed mode. If someone is experiencing horrible lag, you're doing something wrong. Really wrong.
Anyway, I was curious how far along everyone is. Knowing Vix, I can imagine her to be eons ahead of anyone at any given time. >_> But then, I might be painting too pretty a picture. I'm almost always behind, even in Guilds, I tend to solo. But I can find ways to catch up, usually.
I'll play some more in the morning since I'm usually not busy on Mondays. Sleep time now though.

I was pretty much there since making friends from MMOs are a lot harder than you think, and the occasional overcrowded lag at the Bazzars found at most MMOs..

Personally, Megaten lost it's appeal a while back and there's quite a bit more customization of character growth down the road on LUNA. I'll stick with it so long as people keep playing.

Vixy is the ultimate leveling machine. >_> I guess I'll try to hit 20 today so I can class change. If I don't pass out. Bad weather + Stomach virus = fail.
Also, now I'm a Lizard of Destruction. XD I need to take off my costume next time, so people know what I look like normally.

One question, are tank classes actually...you know, good for tanking?
Because Korean MMORPG excel at making shitty tank classes that get OHKO like the rest of the jobs and force massive potion abuse

Since I'm a fighter class (fighters are the tanks here, although there are not that many), tanking is actually quite useful here in a party. Keeps the monsters away from the rangies and healers, too. I've fought off monsters with little potion assistance, hence why I took that screenie.

I job changed to Voyager RIGHT when the server went down for Maintenance. SEED Mode works on MMOs too it seems. I'm so awesome it isn't even funny~

You kill stuff and it drops items and [parasitic bomb]. The same reason any other game is fun. Although the fun level drops after a while, it's still a free game.
