First Season Plot
It is the year A.D. 2307. Fossil fuels on Earth have been depleted entirely, with mankind turning to the next available power source: solar energy. During this time, 3 orbital elevators with solar power generation systems are built, each under control by the World Economy Union, the Human Reform League and the Advanced European Union. However, not all countries are able to enjoy the benefits of this system, leading to widespread resentment and war. Arising out of the conflict, a mysterious non-profit military organization known as Celestial Being appears, dedicated to end all warfare using Mobile Suits called Gundams. This begins the stories of Gundam Meisters Setsuna F Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde as they are thrown into conflict between the 3 superpowers and the other various factions.
Second Season Plot
4 years since the final battle between Celestial Being and the UN Forces. Humanity, having established the Earth Sphere Federation, forms an independent security preservation force, A-LAWS, separate from the formal Federation army to further unify nations and the will of mankind. But the reality was the inhumane oppression of anti-government powers, doctrines and ideologies in the name of unity.
Saji Crossroad, who followed the path to becoming a space engineer to keep a promise to Louise Halevy and fulfill a dream, is also compelled to become involved in Federation government reform.
Meanwhile, Setsuna F. Seiei, surviving the final battle 4 years ago, saw the future of the world that had been changed by Celestial Being. With the defeat of guardian Alejandro Corner, he dreamed of a peaceful world without conflict. But before his own eyes was the reality of the continuing strain on peace, the oppression caused by A-LAWS. He decides once more to fight with Gundam, the power with the potential to change the world.
Where will Setsuna's and Saji's paths take them as the world is set into motion once more?
Is 00 worth watching
Yes.
I mean in the second season.
I mean seriously, this has looked swell and is a good track run. Drama is a must for a Gundam series too, must be noted.
I can only agree with that. To me, 00 so far has done almost everything better than the previous series it took parts of it's story and concept from, the supposed "gems" of Gundam, W and Z.

Before the Twin Drive system was deemed fully functional, this was the close range use equipment for 00 Gundam, designed specially for its meister, Setsuna F Seiei. An evolution of the "Seven Sword" equipment set used by Exia, the 00 Gundam's Seven Sword system also consist of 7 swords. But each sword in this new equipment set had undergone big changes, and as a result, differs from Exia's "Seven Sword". This set of equipment was designed by the revived Celestial Being, before they had met up with Setsuna. It was developed in the factory at Lagrange 3. But after that, in order for the Twin Drive to fully function effectively, the support machine, O Riser, became of a higher priority. Because both equipment sets cannot be used at the same time, this equipment has yet to see real battle. As 00 is further improved on, there is still the possibility of it being used in battle, in the situation of a close range priority mission.
Appears in the manga sidestory Mobile Suit Gundam 00V.
GN Sword II Short
Mounted on the left of the waist. The GN Sword II was developed as a projectile weapon to replace the GN Beam Dagger which Setsuna often used when piloting Exia. The tip part of the sword is attached to a wire, and can be shot out and retracted as many times as needed.
GN Sword II Long
Mounted on the right of the waist. Compared to the current adopted GN Sword II, it has an enhanced rifle mode. But it has a decreased rapid fire capability and increased particle consumption. Its equipped in the premise of the complete operational Twin Drive System, and also it is the only weapon designed for long range battle in the Seven Swords.
GN Katars
Medium sized swords mounted on the add-on parts at both knees. A type of heat sword that has not be adopted by any Gundam so far. The cutting edges are made of the material developed from those that are used in GN condensers. As the GN particles change to heat, the heat is transferred to whatever is in contact at the moment. With this feature in theory, it is possible to attack at high temperatures that cannot be endured by the material of the GN Katar. Still in the prototype stage.
GN Buster Sword II
This massive weapon is attached to the solar furnace of the left shoulder, and has 2 modes of operation. In its "keep" state, aka shield mode, a large all direction GN Field is generated. From the scope of the GN field emission, it appears to also be able to protect nearby allies. With regards to the development of this weapon, Ian analysed the GN Buster Sword of GN-XII from a insider. And with modifications and improvement, this weapon became a melee weapon with top class destructive power.

It's the same with almost all the current gen units. The GN-Xs are just MP Gundam thrones, while Aheads On the inside are almost identical to the original 4 gundams. The federation made the outer fuselage into such an awkward design since Gundams are supposed to be the enemy of the world.

An all-melee fight lasting 30 seconds is actually realistic, it's ranged battles that are supposed to last long.

In the midst of the continuing battle, Tieria having successfully infiltrated the enemy mothership, discovers a frightening truth there. Meanwhile, Ptolemaios, entrenched in a defensive battle, exposed to the tireless enemy’s attacks, are forced to hold out with inferior numbers. Comrades fall one after another. In order to live up to the light of those lives, Setsuna, and then 00, cries out.[/spoiler]

Gundam Meister 874 (ウマイスター874, Umaisutā 874?)
Gundam Meister 874 is one of the four Gundam Meisters employed by Celestial Being in the period in which 00P is set. Designated pilot of the Gundam Sadalsuud. Though Meisters are typically referred to by codename, 874 is designated only by number. For unspecified reasons, she does not appear before the other members of the organization. Physically, she looks younger than 10, but her eyes seem far older.
Hanayo (ハナヨ?)
A manmade AI that is of the same model as Lockon's Haro. Its ear-like flaps gives it a cat-like look. Partners with Fon in missions and provide support for him in the MS. It also acts as a supervisor and unlocks Fon's handcuffs on missions and probably locks them back after missions. Hanayo is able to set up a datalink with Lockon's Haro through Veda. It is confirmed that Meister 874 is inside Hanayo. As shown in Gundam 00F file No.05, Hanayo/Meister 874 can take control over Gundam Plutone.

Bro raiser only had a plane duct taped to it because 00's fuselage couldn't handle the particle output. Most likely Quanta fixes this. More interested in seeing the other units since there's now 9 GN drives.
Also there's the remaining 4. (0 Gundams was destroyed, and the one within Seraphim was confirmed to be intact)
It's more of a chin guard. It's also already out that like the other 2 this one also has a special gimick. And there's a specific reason why it's called Raphael Gundam rather than Gundam Raphael.
