Cave Story.
For an indie game it's very addictive, polished and fun. I like fully upgraded knife. "Scorching Back" (theme from "Egg Corridor?" stage) is my favorite track in the game.

Parasite Eve.
Have defeated Spider boss (he was hard, IMO). After that main antagonist showed up and blew up one fighter jet. Second jet was flying into me, so I had to escape him. However, I didn't manage to do it, so I died and I have to fight that Spider boss, again.

« on: November 09, 2012, 09:17:12 PM »Thanks. I thought the menu separated consumables and permanent upgrades, but the Exit Unit is closer to the E-Tank. No big deal, though!That's why I like MM8, because almost every weapon has more than 7 uses.
I finished the game. It's pretty cool, though a bit unbalanced. 3 energy for one Flash Bomb? Grrr...

I'm playing Parasite Eve.
Well, the game isn't so hard, but I managed to die on Three-head Dog boss thrice.
Story seems very clever, soundtrack has special atmosphere in it and gameplay isn't too boring.

Weapons are really plain and useless, like Acid Shot and Frost ShieldBad examples. When you use Acid Burst on enemies, they usually drop Weapon Energy. So does Frost Shield, only it guarantees that you will get Life Enegry.
These weapons are useful.
Parasitic Bomb is somewhat awkward to use.

However, I don't like transition from "Collapsing Room" to "No Gravity" room, because you put transition at the end of "No Gravity" room, so it becoming pointless.
