Bought, bought, and bought. Also, hey guys.
the art director also, I really like the way he thought everything through in regards to the presentation of the game, being that it's 2.5D and it is real easy to mess up 2.5D
Yeah wouldn't be surprised. How is he anyway, he told me he was moving.Yeah he is out in the middle of nowhere now, but he is happy so thats all that matters.
The game graphics look alright, but it's not 8-bit.We can't stay retro forever. the series needs to go forward. Even 10 got some pushback from people who felt Capcom was trying to milk the retro nostalgia. And after 7 years, Another 8 bit title would have been a cop out.
Also, this will probably be the first NEW Mega Man game without Comcept's Keiji Inafune.Honestly that's not actually something new. We've had Megaman games without him before, and he was producer for many of them. Director is where the real magic happens.
The new model changes when acquiring new weapons is kinda neat, but It's not the same tradition of color change only. Even the classic Mega Man X had color change only (besides armor upgrades) of its time.
I don't know how I feel about this.

Just wonder what took them seven years to get around to it.
My biggest beef back then was the fact that they went for a low-hanging fruit and stripped down the gameplay to the basics, not that 9 and 10 were bad. The return of the Charge and Slide combined with the new super gear mode indicates to me that alongside the visual presentation, they're wanting to expand and build on what came before this go around. From another perspective, this is also finally the first true HD Mega Man game, and the 4th wholly 2.5D title (or 2nd, if you discount the remakes).

Hope that means an X9 in the future.Honestly I think it does.
I DIDN'T SEE ANY NEW DESIGNS FOR BLUES, THEREFORE I AM DISPLEASED WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OF A BRAND NEW CLASSIC MEGAMAN GAME WITH UPDATED DESIGNS AND GRAPHICS WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED FOR AND ALL I REALLY WANTED FROM THIS 30TH ANNIVERSARY STREAM!!
But it's kinda cool I guess.
Clearly we just mod Protoman into the PC version XDI mean....he could be DLC or an unlocakble.
Ahhhhh, almost like old times...~! 8D 8D
Just dropping by to say, it's been 10 years lol.

Welcome back Blue man.
Amazing how a new announcement of an actual, brand new game, can bring everyone out of the woodwork!
And yeah, hoping to see Proto Man and Bass.
The real question, I think, is Roll. Understandable that she wasn't likely going to be playable in 9/10 since there weren't any 8-bit sprites to work with or other sprites from other games to use as a reference. Nut now that we're back in a 3D realm? Gimme back my broom-wielding terror from MMPU and TvC. She's got a HOUSE to clean~! 8D

I'm just going to say it: I'm glad to see Mega Man without Inafune. I love Inafune, but his 2D heyday is clearly behind him, and I got really sick and tired of what would have been FOUR Classic games that removed the slide had Universe not been cancelled. So no more of that. No more chasing 2's shadow. No more NES milking, which was questionable at MM10 and would have been just boring now. And FREAKING EGUCHI IS THE DIRECTOR, WHOO-HOO!

We finally have Dr. Wily art, no sign of Protoman or Bass yet.
Hey, Blue Valkyrie, that avatar pic looks like it's from FFXIV. Is that your Character in game?
