Topic: Megaman In: Mega City

From time to time I'll browse the net looking for new Mega Man fan-games to play. This one seems really cool. Although I only got to play it for about 20 minutes due to having to leave for work But it seems to be one giant level... like the Metroid games. Have any of you checked this one out? What OS are you running? Works great on Windows 7. Not sure about XP... I may have to try it on my old XP system just to see...

Had it up and running on Windows XP Pro just fine. Try updating your DirectX. Also... it could have to do with your graphics card. On XP I'm running a Nvidia 512. So, not sure exactly what the required specs are for this game, but it's working fine for me.

Now... more about the game now that I've had a chance to play it. It's huge! I like the "Super Metroid" vibe to it. The play control isn't quite spot on like the original NES titles, but it's reasonable. Overall, has decent story line, and some really cool power ups for Mega. Not the best fan game I've ever played... but not the worst. If had to rate it (As if my opinion matters) it would get an 8 out of 10.
