Just curious.
Official definition would be interesting but not necessary.

I always said it as "RE", not "REE". Most voice actors seem to go that route as well, down to Wayne Doster in X4 to Epsilon in CM and Sigma in MHX.

Every english voiceover i've heard in the games has pronounced it as "Reep-loid", so that's what I've grown to say.

Hence REPP-loid.

Reploid and Repliroid are short for Replicate Android. therefore, for the contraction to make sense, the rep is pronounced 'rehp'.

It's REPP-lloyd, and every voice actor has pronounced it as such.

I think REPP-lloyd is the right one since it is much closer to the original name: Repliroid.

Hmm, I guess that all makes sense. I read the name way before I heard it or saw its origins, so the REE- (like in return) is what stuck.

Re-Pu-Ri-Roi-Do. I have the Japanese accent so I pronounce Repliroid like that.

As a total North American (Canadian, mind you), I find it inconceivably hard to pronounce "Repliroid" how Aile-Chan does.
Two "R"s in a row is hard. >_<
As for how I pronounce it, the same as Sky and Sakura.
The latter has made me spend another 10 seconds of my life typing this.

In Polish it's "say (almost) exactly what you see", so for me it's re-plo-id and re-pli-ro-id.

It's always been Rep-loid for me. I've never heard it said differently, but then again, I've never been paying attention either.

Repliroids... They were robots designed to look like Humans...
These technical marvels were given unique personalities and were intended to be the perfect workers and the perfect partners for mankind...
But... the wheels of peace between Repliroids and Humans were beginning to grind to a halt.
The Repliroids were well designed. Perhaps too well. Their humanity began to sow the seeds of rebellion. The rebels were labeled Irregulars and feared by their Human masters...
The Humans decided to pit Repliroids against Repliroids... That was the fate given to them.
The Repliroids fighting for humanity were never given a choice...
Thus the war of the machines began and the Humans just watched...
War begot war... And time passed... Even with the construction of the utopian Human city Neo Arcadia, the war dragged on...
The Irregulars defeated the leader of Neo Arcadia. And now... Neo Arcadia is under the control of the criminal Dr. Vile.
The former Utopia is now only a shadow of its former glory. Many have started to flee the city.
We are one of those groups fleeing from the clutches of Dr. Vile in our caravan...
