Capcom Signs Deal For Monumental Online Multiplayer Game

Why do I say worry?  Well, I saw the mention of an MMO of some sort, and I just hope it's not a MegaMan MMO of some kind, as that would make me question my "NO MMO" policy.  Heh, not like I could afford one now anyway.

However, speculation is just speculation at this point in time.  Who knows?  Perhaps it could be a MegaMan or dare I say, Power Stone Online Fighting Game.  LoL, I'll let the experts take it from here!   8)

And I hope it's no MMMMORPG.

I can already see the hordes of Zero clones running around.

Wait... OH GOD.... they're not turning the Elf Wars into a MMORPG are they? SOMEONE STOP THEM!

Monster Hunter series, but it's an Action RPG with online features. >U<

Also a failed attempt at a Ghosts 'n Goblins MMO many years ago.

Monster Hunter is cool because gameplay relies mostly on skill and less on stats.

not even Mega Man will make me play an MMO. but i highly doubt this would be a Mega Man game anyway.


What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

PSO is still stats focused. Unless they changed something. You level up and increase your character's strength, stamine, HP etc etc., righ?

In Monster Hunter you have your Health and Endurance and you have to see how far you get with it.

true, but it was still much more skill based then other online rpgs.  I haven't played Monster Hunter in a while so maybe I've forgotten o.o

Marginally. The only skill in PSO was timing your shots (easy as [acid burst]) and your location in space making a bigger difference. Enemies had more visceral schticks, but they weren't unique in online RPGs to have ones.
Hell, Diablo took slightly more skill, and PSO is a diablo-clone through and through...

Yeah it would be weird if they made a MMO it just wouldn't be right, like Final Fantasy 11.
