Lol, Mexico is definitely better than Australia no doubt, on paper that is.
and if they indeed get to play, it will be in quarter final.

Australia got Germany, Serbia and Ghana as rivals. Aus will aim for 2nd place.

Mexico got home team South Africa, France, and Uruguay as rivals. Will also aim for 2nd place though possible to get 1st.

If they somehow got through to second round Aus will meet England (the most possible outcome), USA, Slovenia, or Algeria.
While Mexico will meet Argentina (most likely), South Korea, Nigeria, or Greece.

It's a long road my friend.
But hey, you never know.

I just have no faith in my team to get that far

At times they do great in the games, but at others they do horrible against teams that they shouldn't have had that much trouble with.

Haha, I can relate. It sucks that a team with such huge potential fails at the most crucial moment.
Heh, I'll just watch and enjoy the event personally (I'm rooting for Aus, any Asian team, and Eng)

To withstand such excitement is something very hard to do. It's just so uplifting when the entire bar goes nuts on a single goal.

Not at all for me, it's way harder for me to get excited actually. Hell, the most excited I can get while trying during a soccer game at the stadium is a simple "woot!" or "yes!"
