So, the computer I scored? HP Pavilion desktop running Windows Vista. Pentium Dual Core processor. 4GB RAM, 500GB harddrive. Lightscribe DVD burner, HP Media dock, miscellaneous drives, and a couple dongles that were left in it.

Not a bad score!

Kitten who we are calling Mina seems to have fun exploring-she stayed with me last night and snuggled for most of it-although my light sheet keeps driving her into a pouncing frenzy-and many toes were nommed. Adorable but now I'm tired since I was up since 5am X_x

I've used Vista before and yeah, it blows. For what I plan to do with this computer, though, throwing XP on it isn't a huge priority. It's a project computer, so I'll mostly be tinkering.

Yup for all the thing my dad does that drives me nuts and causes my relationship with him to be extremely strained, and he seems to be getting worse unfortunately, I can say that his taste in music is great.
