After infecting them, leave them in the box, so that the virus doesn't die out.

Would depositing him in the daycare spread the infection, so I have another carrier?  I plan to infect my team (at least one Pokemon), then send Tropius back to the box immediately, allowing the infection to spread throughout the team.  But, I want to infect someone else, then send them to the daycare and breed the infection, and send that egg and its parent to the box.

I'm not sure if the virus spreads via breeding.

The rule of thumb is...
1. Place PKRS'd Pokemon in first position.
2. Have it battle.
3. Check team after battle ends. Usually the next 2 Pokemon will get infected.
4. Repeat Step 2 until all 6 are infected.
5. Deposit, and start again at step 2.

Another note. PKRS usually dies out at the midnight it is caught. However, if you deposit the Pokemon before midnight, and then withdraw it after midnight, the PKRS clock is reset.

One last thing, PKRS doesn't spread within the box. You have to do it manually using the above steps.

Alright, so next time I go grinding, I'll go take Tropius on a wild encounter and infect my team, then deposit him quickly.  Just to infect another vessel, I'll stick a lower-level on the team.

I had a Pokerus'd Pokemon in Black 2, but forgot about it until 11:58PM. It didn't spread, but apparently my Walrein caught a mild case of it (not enough to show he had it, nor to show up as him having had it at one point), enough to gain 50 Sp. Atk and 25 Sp. Def over the next two level ups before stat growth returned to normal.

That is how he fulfilled his title of the WALRUS OF DOOM

When he uses Surf, nothing survives.
