Can't remember which KoF game it was, but it had a large fat guy with a wrecker ball on a chain. And I spammed his down-slide attack every time. With correct timing, the opponent NEVER gets a chance to counter attack as they keep getting locked to get hit, fall, recover just to get hit again.

I don't, they were stupid in Gen 2, minus the Gyarados forced evolution and mutilation of Slowpokes, and playing Gen 1 again makes them very pathetic and highly incompetent, Giovanni especially. But seriously Gen 2 Rocket was the worst due to their end goal to being just begging for Giovanni to come back. If not for that last part I would be fine with Rocket in Gen 2, but it made me question why they needed Giovanni when they could pretty much do all the things they did without him.

But other than Galatic and Plasma I didn't care much for the enemy teams anyway. But I do love the silliness of Aqua in AS and I like how they establish that the opposite Team isn't exactly good either.

However I do give them props for just being criminals that just do things behind the scenes such as selling Pokemon in Casinos and not get the mascot Legendary to take over/destroy the world, but I still find them very stupid and not really good bad guys. Gen 1 is more about bringing Douchebag Oak down from his high horse and Rocket just felt almost tacked on.

Same can be said for Gen 2 to some extent but for Silver instead until you decide to find Red, I guess.

However Origins did Giovanni right in my opinion, he actually kicked Red's ass once.

I played a rather crappy Hazama back when I had a copy of Blazblue, but according to the friends I used to play with, I had a beastly Hakumen.

Chang was fun. I was always more of a May Lee player myself...think my '02UM team was somethin' like May Lee/Blue Mary/K'.

Kinda. His unique gimmick is a counter, and his mobility's on the low side (he only has a short hop instead of an actual run), but he does stupid amounts of damage on counter-hits and his meter fills on its own.

I was only good with him because I played super-defensive.

If I'm honest, I've kinda given up on the franchise with Central Fiction.

Don't get me wrong, I love the world, and some of the characters (Lambda, Hazama and Hakumen especially) are awesome, but the plot is reaching Kingdom Hearts levels of nonsensical and depressing.

Eh it's not as bad as Kingdom Hearts but I agree that it can be needlessly confusing with the time loop, timeline and time traveling aspects. Especially for a fighting game, Arc System or no.
