I'm hearing things of in-game chests that won't open unless uPlay is connected to a server and ones that won't open without Mr. Microtransaction (AKA an iOS "Companion app" that costs more money.)

That's because they were playing the game while it was still downloading, which even has a message saying that, and I quote, "your gaming experience may not be ideal until you've downloaded all game content".

The companion App doesn't cost a thing, last I checked. The only microtransactions are completely optional and unneeded.

There are plenty of things wrong with the game, but those two are just people being dumb and/or stretching the truth. Take that as you will.

I have several friends who swear by the Paleo diet, and it's annoying.

I mean they seem to be getting results from it and feeling good but... is it really the diet or is it a placebo effect?
