Looking at Ariel, it seems that Ursula had a troll face all along.

For a second I thought it was Buzz Lightyear's face.

Woody thought so too.

I still don't know what the hell Kaiyodo was thinking when they decided that was a good face for Woody.

I don't really care since these images are always hilarious.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

That there are people on 4chan that still seriously give a [parasitic bomb] about post numbers is disappointing. So much for their "post count on forums lol" philosophy.

Jesus [tornado fang].
You cannot possibly defeat my trip power. 8D

Also, in answer to your question, doubles, trips or quads have nothing to do with number of forum posts. The anonymous system exists in order to remove the boundaries of forums where people exist by reputation, or in closed-up groups that end up existing everywhere. The random posts themselves and the attempts to get doubles or trips are nothing more than random, completely useless stuff. THAT is why it got popular. Because it's a completely luck-based thing, a concept created to waste time, and nobody gets any reputation because of it. It's used to derail threads, troll or just to kid around.

...and unlike The Game, it can't be used out of an imageboard, so it can't just get popular and have little kids [tornado fang] it up by spreading it everywhere.

Because it's a completely luck-based thing,
I don't know if it was at one point, but it isn't now. There's a Greasemonkey script specifically designed for getting a specific post number.

Also, my reasoning had to do more with screwing around with the feature of a particular format of board. Although they have "Anonymous" as their names, there's really no doubt that for fifteen seconds, a poster can garner unwarranted adulation and praise, and it's not that much different from having a name on the internet (I mean, when you see all these links to one post, people are giving attention to one guy anf they know it, and the poster gets a big, fat chubby).

PS: I don't remember really asking a question. I dunno. Pay this no heed, I'm just nitpicking at semantics as usual.

Adulation and praise? It's just people going along with it for the sake of the fun. It's not that big a deal, and normally, it's just laughter. It's a damn meme being expressed, not people actually congratulating each other. You got forum members in every single forum that get their dicks sucked with every single thing they type. Why should it be a problem if a bunch of people nobody really knows about who they are or what they do, have fun with the only number they have in their hand, and use it as a runaway joke that's lasting years? It's all that is. A joke. And it makes people able to just ignore stuff they don't like instead of recognizing people nitpicking at this and that.

See, I'll say this with honesty and sincerity. 4chan's probably the nicest, kindest and fairest place on the net. Everybody gets treated the exact same way. It may be an internet hate machine, but when they like something and spread something, it's most likely amazing. And some of the best damn humor moments there are, have come from there. It's a "the moment" thing, where information is instant and no thread ever sits quiet for days. You get what's happening, with the people that are there at the moment, and you normally get what you want out of it. It's fair, standard, and hatred spews all ways, all kinds from there. Makes it the best place to be. They will joke, mock around and call you a [Top Spin]. But they call everyone a [Top Spin]. And you get standardized as anyone that can be there. No ostracization, no one-chances, no condemnation. Just acceptance of whatever it is the exact same way it is.

Anyway, back on topic. Here's some pics.

Well, I'm trying to have fun, too. I want to discuss something that's actually interesting (as I'm sure a lot of other people do), but it's difficult to do when threads with potential get bumped off the face of the board in favor of a bunch of morons screeching like apes because of a scripted get.

Just acceptance of whatever it is the exact same way it is.
Are you sure you're talking about 4chan?

If the thread gets bumped off, that mean it was on page 20+. Which means it wasn't that popular to begin with.

When you're talking about any board that moves as fast as 4chan's, it can get bumped from page 0 to 15 in a matter of minutes, with only several people having ever seen it at all.
