Yeah, I only bought the first tier since the BTA was $11 last I checked because lots of people are buying the $12 for the TFU games and I don't really have any need for those.

DISGUST.

Unless Empire at War has some secretly immense popularity. Though that would imply people probably have some better taste than thought, and that's never the case.

My friends and I really enjoyed Empire at War actually! A lot of great times. Man was the Rebellion overpowered in space. Haha!

It's not on Steam and I'm too lazy to torrent it.

I still have the N64 version but I've never played the PC version.

...That said I've got the PC version downloaded but I'm too lazy to patch it to work on Win7.

C'mon GOG. Step it up.

I'm actually a bit disappointed that the SW Bundle is nothing but Steam Games.

Especially since Steam doesn't have any of the old PC games that GoG has like TIE Fighter.

Oh well, Dark Forces looks like it could be neat. I like Doom-style FPS games.

I enjoyed Dark Forces back in the day.

I do recall it being tough at times though, although I'm not sure if it's because I was rather young at the time.

This week in eShop stuff in the US:

3DS gets the third (and final for the Gameboy) Game & Watch Gallery today. And since they're never going to put GBA games on the 3DS we'll probably get 4 on the Wii U in the future. 3's personally my favorite one, lots of fun modern style games even though Greenhouse is [tornado fang]ing atrocious thanks to them being dumb and thinking a Dual Screen game on a single screen console was a good idea (This is in regards to the Classic version, the Modern version does it right). Also the game is unable to be 100% completed thanks to one of the games having a 2P function (Judge, one of the unlockables) and guess what the Virtual Console can't do? They dummied out the option completely and there's no way to obtain those stars.

Wii U gets Dig-Dug and Mappy Land today. NES of course so Dig-Dug is skippable (Unless you love it and have absolutely no other versions of it) and I don't know how Mappy Land is any different from classic Mappy.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is up for pre-load.

Gunman Clive 2 is out, general consensus is that its good but maybe not as good as the first one? (Then again its like $2 or something, can't really hurt that much to try)

Gunman Clive was [parasitic bomb]. It's like platforming for 5-year-olds.

$2 is not an excuse to slap something together randomly and make absolutely no effort to make it fun. What's the point of creating a game, at all, if you're just going to be lazy?

Objection Man's Hamster Drop game is super inexpensive, too, yet he put in a lot of effort. It's simple and addicting.

I really want to get Hamster Drop but unfortunately I have no smart phone. Also adding to this, I bought Peggle Deluxe at a Dollar Tree versus spending $10 on Steam and surprisingly found that game addicting and fun. Heck, you can find physical copies of (classic) Beat Hazard for less than $5 on Amazon.

Japan looks to be getting its first Sega VC game on the Wii U.

Don't hold your breath, its just a GBA game. That game being Sonic Advance (Presumably the others would follow after it.)

Also they're getting Rockman & Forte, but the GBA version, which sucks.

HEH.

I actually own World End Econimica already. Same author as Spice & Wolf, though a friend that's played says the protag is a little [parasitic bomb].

Also the Star Wars bundle updated rather predictably with the rest of the Jedi Knight games. A shame so many plebs are paying the full $12 for Force Unleashed that the average is practically on par.

I would've been on board for this if Thief were below the average so I can finally buy that game for a meager one dollar.

If they were on for a bit cheaper, I'd probably buy them again.

I would probably let Falcom rent ad space on my ass if asked.
