Well, here's the old man who's been with us for sixteen years as of last month. His birthday is the 23rd of December and every year, as soon as the Christmas tree is set up, it becomes his new bed until we take it down.

He even slept by the box of ornaments after we took it apart.

I have a similarly aged cat (she's turning fifteen soon). She's more of a whiny little prat, though, and just wants me to hold her all the time.

He sleeps around all day and actually doesn't like being held that much. He's up all night though, which is a pain in the ass.
