So that thing regarding cancellations of amiibos was total bullshit according to Nintendo.

Chances are they recieve characters like some toy companies ship them out, where they get a set amount of a character in a box and the more popular ones like Mario or Link come more to a box than Marth or Villager.

That's what would make the most sense at least.

So apparently the Japanese version of the Wii U game has an extra song that the US didn't get.

Its another remix of Ashley's Song from Warioware, strange as to why it wasn't in both versions.

I think I remember the wario ware songs having two versions for each territory. Maybe I remember wrong, but I thought there was something like that in Brawl.

Mike's Song, Ashley's Song and the Mona Pizza Song all had two versions, English and Japanese.

The catch? They were all brought over in the US version, which is good because the English songs don't sound very good except for Mona Pizza.

Apparently they MIGHT discontinue figure Amiibos later on and release them in a card format. That's a dumb idea honestly unless they make them considerably cheaper because otherwise that'll blow up in their face.

You know, I STILL have not cleared the "deal the final blow to a boss in Smash Tour" challenge, not for lack of trying. For God's sake, the Cruel Smash challenges for Pit and Lucina COMBINED were not this much trouble. Every effing time, assuming a boss even appears, either the other three characters die and end the battle, or if I didn't bother to connect additional controllers and play all four Miis on the board myself, the CPU screws me with Wolfen/Darkrai/Poison Mushroom.

I hate Smash Tour.

Yeah I could only get that one with 4 controllers. And even so Ridley wouldn't let the other three just stand there. I got it on Metalface cause of how big the stage is.

The only Smash Tour challenge I need is the Metroid one, only because it's only showed up for me once, and that was playing with CPUs.

I was trying the Classic 9.0 Marth 12 minute challenge for a good couple hours last night and I just wasn't getting it. A lot of it was me derping at spots, a lot was also not being able to go into Master Fortress with both lives, and the rest is RNG. If you get a bad stage like Pac Land you might as well reset. I tried with default Marth and a full strength setup, I tended to get further with the latter despite everything being able to 3 shot me at the best.

I may end up hammering this one cause I got a friend to help me with some co-op Classic runs. The 7.0 with all characters may be in reach now that my absolute suckiest characters are done with thanks to help from characters we were good with. If you don't have IRL friends, I hope you're frickin awesome with every character.

I've gotten Metalface with four controllers ONCE (which is probably the second time I've seen him in that mode at all; it's otherwise been Ridley and Yellow Devil all the time), and I made the grievous error of assigning CPU control anyway due to being unsure of how reliable the "he leaves distant characters alone" thing was. Wouldn't you know it, the CPU died almost right away.

At least I feel better about knocking out the Metroid challenge nice and early, so thanks for that.

The 7.0 thing I don't think is so bad, if you take the time to customize everyone and have been playing long enough to have a decent item/badge selection (I max Attack and Defense but keep Speed as close to neutral as I can; also helps if you catch any negative effects that you can live with, like slow Shield regeneration or losing respawn invincibility). And believe me, I SUCK as some of the popular heavyweights, not the least of which are Ganondorf and Dedede.

So people are surprised that it's possible to "fake" the game into thinking that there's a Duck Hunt Amiibo.

Why that surprises anyone, I have no idea. Anybody with the slightest sense of logic should be able to figure out that Amiibo doesn't involve any new assets or anything.

So apparently Capt. Falcon, Little Mac and Pit are in another situation of "Selling out and not being restocked".

They'll probably come back again but I doubt it'll be soon.
