Depends. A depression only ends after some time after you've planned something to change, fix or get over that sad fact that brought you into that depression in the first place, as well as supporting facts along the way.

I suggest making a list of things that are getting you down, and a plan for each one of them, in order of importance, to be put into practice starting with the most important (or practical, or easier to do if it's a long-term thing).

No, you don't want to be obese. Obesity describes unhealthy body weight. You want to have body fat.

Psychiatry universities and institutions have students ready to give you a few free sessions for practice in exchange for you being their test subject for this or that in boring tests. It's worth a try.

Other than that, I can tell you what cured my depression, but it probably wouldn't work for you. I got a low-pay part-time job that got me to work for about 7 hours a day doing heavy lifting and running deliveries. It was kinda like paid exercise, and it got me out of my shell back then. My advice would be going through whole new experience which would kinda get you out of your shell and put you into a mentality of "I can fix this!".

I've never been in a state of depression, Mirb, so I don't really know what to say. Based on what I've gathered from my girlfriend - who's been in a pretty bad on-and-off flunk for the past two years or so - the best thing is to just spend your time with someone you love and never, ever forget that there are always people out there that care for you and want you to feel better. And remember, never, ever give up hope.

I should be mowing the lawn now except daddy left the extension cord in a place that only he could possibly remember and he forgot what that place was, and he's telling me that I should be organized? This irony will not stand.
