...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

I now how to calculate the colours, so if you wish I can give you the values from the game, than you can go ahead and change them. You must also search for the recent used colours, otherwise you can corrupt ROM permantly when you have no idea, where to start.
I dirrect you to this thread.

Don´t forget, you will need a Hex Editor and a Emulator like VBA where you can find and watch the values, like they are shown in the Memory Viewer in form of palettes.

i've been trying on and off to beat the game using only Zero and only the Z Saber. i wanted to do it single segment, but i always [tornado fang] up along the way due to Zero's bigger hitbox.

The saber only thing, is it using the permacharge code or doing it legitimately (ie firing double shot into the air every time)?

first one. we're cheating anyway, right?

actually, it's completely permenant. if you hold the button after swinging, you charge up like normal. there are a few times where i would use that, like the boring climb up in Doppler 2.

It´s easy if you understand the values of binear.
01 =1      10000000=128 01000000=64
10 =2
11 =3

It all about 2*X-1 or 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2-1

128+64+32+16+8+4+2+1=255=FF= 11111111

Did you get it?

This is what we call 8-bit.
