(moved here from main 'Off the wall' section, because I'm a spazz XD)

So, like the title says, "What is the best movie you saw this month?"

Please post the movie and why you liked it ^^

Mine is STAR TREK!!! *fangirls* I've liked Star Trek for a really long time. My dad is a HUGE sci fi fan, so I grew up with it. As a kid I watched Voyager and TNG, and later, Enterprise (although I quickly got bored of Enterprise for some reason, even though it had a beagle). Anyways, I liked a few things the best. 1) The attention to detail. Every bulkhead was labeled. The loading craft had 'emergency exit' written on the outside of it. Little things that made you think it was all real. 2) I LOVED Kirk, and how the actor played him, as he obviously studied the Kirk Swagger XD I also really liked Spock. A lot. I love Vulcans. *fangirl* He did an amazing job. The plot was good and I loved that they made it an AU, but I totally cried when Kirk's dad died in the beginning D: I saw it twice XD

The only recent movie I have watched is Angels and Demons.

I do like how most of the plot is unchanged, though some details were changed, like where's my Illuminati Diamond darnit. >_>
Still, it was a great watch nonetheless.

Indeed, Up was a great movie.  I cried, too. XD  Such a sweet and touching movie, really tugged at the heartstrings.  Definetly ranks as one of the best movies I saw last month.

The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari was also really good.  I enjoyed it, the visuals were great.  The plot certainly was a twist.  If you're ever thinking of seeing it, get the Kino Video edition with the original soundtrack.
