Picked up my copy today about 1 (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME 
)
Been playing it nonstop and my controller died. Loving it so far. Some characters didn't make the transition too well (though I can't really comment on a couple). Cody, especially, transitioned very strangely. Not bad, really, but he doesn't feel like himself anymore. His crack kick especially feels nerfed from what it was in Alpha. Next to no forward movement on it at all, and it used to be one of his best moves.
Makoto is who I've been playing the most of so far. She's definitely still the rushdown queen she was in third strike, though her dash punches are a bit slower out of the box, and her grab and choke doesn't combo after it (though I could never do it in third strike, myself, apparently it was possible).
She seems like she has a hell of a potential for comebacks this time around. I've managed to turn matches around with a single choke grab. It's awesome.

Working on a couple of Fakemon.
Here are the basic lines.
It's a fire/ghost type. Those spike things are flames. I'll edit them to be more flame-like later. There will be a third evo, too.
Any ideas for names? I've got nothing.

I butchered her likeness so much it isn't even funny. >.< I know I butcher my own but I'm the one drawing so that's fine.
Anyway, I'd like to start doing comics like this maybe... once a week? Not gonna set myself to a schedule any more defined than that, since the plan is basically just make a comic when I think of something funny/something funny happens to me. It'll be mostly auto-bio comic with some one-off jokes.

« on: March 31, 2010, 03:30:11 AM »King has too much bounce. Mai on the other hand.. Hehe..Yeah, King has a lot of bounce considering how little she's moving. She was never really a sex appeal kind of character so I don't see why they made her that way.
Mai on the other hand, could stand to bounce a little more. And a slightly skimpier outfit. Less front, drop the back completely.

I'm excited. I've never been as big of a fan of KoF as I am of SF, but I don't think I've ever not had a copy of one of the KoFs on my shelf.
Didn't play KoFXII, primarily because I had heard bad things about it and I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm excited that they're adding King in, since she's always part of my team.
In fact, if they add Vanessa, I'll have my entire KoFXI team together again. King, Shen-woo, and Vanessa.

Also, something I heard somebody say in regards to Hakan's bright-rededness: Real Turkish oil wrestlers use olive oil. Wrestling outside often while oiled up with olive oil likely literally cooked his skin red.
No idea why his hair/thing is green-blue, though.
