Ahem, the official Pokemon.com site has updated to reveal a new Mystery Gift event, the Member Card.
Yep, the card that you need to access the locked inn in Canalave City, to sleep in a bed, to awake in Newmoon Island, to meet a Lv50 Darkrai.
This event will be from August 3rd to September 13th for North America, and only downloadable for Pokemon Platinum.

Isn't Treecko like.. Extremely flammable?

Treecko can use Dig and Rock Tomb, both of which can snuff out Cyndaquil easily enough.

Let me know if you'd like any Virtual Console recommendations as well. Also as I mentioned before, your millage may vary with this list. I don't mind trying out different kinds of games and it shows with a lot of the picks here. Some of them however might not be one's cup of tea. Still most of the ones here that I mentioned are at least worth a look over if you get the chance to see them in the future.

Vixy already posted a link to a list of Virtual Consoles that I can get in N. America, but thanks for the offer.

The same way most of the village has no idea what "Root" is. The same way not many know that Naruto is the fourth hokage's son. And the very same way that members of "Root" can't so much as speak of Danzo. Covered up. Danzo is a high authority in Konaha. He could--with effort, cover up his activities of stealing a Sharingan. Even then, I still find the idea that Danzo = Madara silly. Simply because when Sai faked his alliance with Orochimaru, his orders were to flat out -kill- Sasuke.

Not bring him back, not fight him so that his sharingan powers are shown, but to kill him, even in his sleep if he had to. Madara wants to use Sasuke....can't use something that's dead.

Needless to say, now that Danzo is hokage--if he was also Madara--he could easily make Naruto disappear and into the hands of Akatsuki without many being the wiser. There are just too many contradictions to support the idea that Madara is Danzo.

I'd like to add that it would not have been that difficult for Danzo to get the Sharingan. He could have simply had it plucked out from the guy that Itachi killed to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan.

This means nothing. I'm sure you all remember that there use to be a whole clan of Uchiha. Danzo could have simply taken an eye out from one of the dead members.

With recent events, I've been doing a bit of thinking, and I have come to a rather depressing thought: could all those nuts screaming about how the world is going to end by 2012 been right in a sense? By that I mean an end to the world in a cultural-spiritual sense.

I hope this isn't gonna by a singer year...
last year was all entertainers...

This has me worried, people who have had a major influence on culture are dying in such a short time span, and it is having a great effect on us.

I'm also worried about how we're bringing up the next generation. Some of the crap that's being shoved onto them is not going to do them any good. It really does make wonder what will become of them and future generations that we won't be around to see.

Now uhh, not to start a fight or anything, but Sonic Unleashed had it's fair share of problems, mostly in the night stages. Some of the design elements were horrible in there and made me want to stop playing. I mean, some jumps was entirely trial and error, often due to the horrid camera angles they chose. When you can't even properly tell where the hell it is you're jumping, you know something's wrong. That said, the day levels are certainly a breath of fresh air.

As for Sega itself, it's made some decent stuff, if we look elsewhere than the Sonic games. They're capable of good things still, which is possibly why some people are so frustrated by some of the Sonic games lately, although they tend to overdo it sometimes (too fast... hah).

I'll concede that Sega definitely did drop the ball with the night stages, but there are quite a few people who focus too much time raging over the bad points of Sonic Unleashed and tend to overlook the good points.

Well, let's not be too hasty here, though the usual anti-Sega bias has already flown out. This was only just announced for cellphones. If there were enough demand to get this shot to another portable, such as DS, it's certainly not impossible. The game already loosely resembles a Sonic Rush title. In theory, it shouldn't be overly difficult to move to a portable. However, the name may cause a few problems... perhaps a subtitle?

People really need to take off the Sonic Next glasses and stop expecting some ridiculous expectation about what a Sonic game should be. It's getting irritating now because even when something with quality like Unleashed 360/PS3 comes out which is dose of goodness the franchise sorely needed on consoles, people complain it's still not good enough. I'm convinced most Sonic fans are retards and don't know what the hell they want anymore.

I cannot tell you how much it irritates me that people always seem to find something to complain about a really good Sonic game. And it's not just with Sonic either, there are people who complain too damn much about meaningless crap about other really good games. For example, I happen to know that there are some people who like to complain about the fighting system in Street Fighter 4.

I really can't understand why so many people need to complain about even the smallest detail in a game rather than just enjoy the damn game. I think that this is one of the problems with both gamers and the people who make games today. The gamers [sonic slicer] and whine about something they don't like and the makers, in response try to come up with some ideas on what they can do to improve the next game in the series. Whether or not the changes and/or additions in the next game are good or bad, people will complain about about it and thus the whole cycle repeats itself.

Anyways, these are my thoughts on the matter, or atleast my attempt to put my thought into words.
