Got my Roy and Ryu amiibos a couple days ago. This was the first time I'd EVER seen Fire Emblem Sm4sh amiibo on-shelf (my Roy was a pre-order, but still).

A couple of weeks ago, I got Nendoroid Hotarumaru reserved. I need some sword boys.

Never played any, but I remember tales of all those "adult" ROMhacks that were made by hateful, spiteful middle schoolers. You know, the ones that flood the game world with phalli and/or betray what their creators think of transgender people.

Oftentimes, the base game mechanics would be tampered with in ways that didn't work, to boot.

In terms of fan games I DID play, there's this one Sonic SatAM-based game whose name I keep forgetting (it took place a few years in the future and was edgy as fook and Tails underwent a growth spurt); the first level was made unreasonably difficult, and I couldn't get more than a little ways into it.

Came in here a tad late, but: HELL YES GIVE ME THE BAYO

Corrin's fine, too; funny thing is, I'd idly wondered whether they would replace Robin as the "create your own Fire Emblem unit" in a hypothetical Smash 5. Turns out they'll share a game.

Gotta wait to nab Cloud until I've got some actual funds. Sm4sh has given us a Nomura-drawn Link and I am happy.

Alright. ^^ Though as a heads-up, I'm probably going to redesign RS-Jumpgirl as her design's rather old and too reminiscent of one of the Wasp's costumes.

EDIT: It is done. I'll probably hold off on full-body pics of other RMs until they're actually confirmed for use. Galaxywoman is OK as-is, I think.

Sweet, an update! ^^ And a new boss, too!

(Reminds me--maybe I ought to draw some of my proposed Robot Mistresses again. Especially Tenguwoman, who's likely in need of a revision)

Late to the discussion, but I'd like to say:

Totally unexpected, but HELL YES. Give me the Cloud. And I'll bet that Sakurai and co. were aware of the more off-the-wall Smash picks (and the typical reactions to same) and were giggling maniacally in the hours before the Direct went live.

It's hard to describe how much I need that Wicked Lady Figuarts. I need her a lot, and I also need to grab Sailor Chibi Moon so I can stage chronologically-impossible photos.

Double post.

We went to TRU today to grab some Mii-packs and take advantage of their timed "get a normal amiibo for $10 too" deal. I was worried that, since we didn't get there right before opening, there'd only be a handful of Miis left, if even that.

NOT SO. There were many Mii-packs available in at least three different parts of the gaming area. Dunno if those were leftovers from the initial shipment or if there just weren't many people coming in today, but either way, I got a Mii-pack (and a Bowser Jr., thus completing Wave 6) for me Christmas stash, and my little sisters both got Shulk (only one of my sisters wanted the Mii-pack).

Went to TRU today to take advantage of the amiibo sale; walked away with a pink Yarn Yoshi (one of my little sisters got two Smash amiibos).

I was surprised to see how many Foxes they had (around eight); this is also the first time I've seen Fox in-store.

Dunno if this is a company-wide thing or just my location, but TRU's also only doing amiibo pre-orders online now, for whatever reason.

Hell yeah; dunno when I'll be able to grab that, but it's good to know that it'll be available. Last time I played MML1 was via unstable N64 emulator.

Three Olimars, huh? I thought he'd be a bit rarer, all things considered.

Incidentally, one of my little sisters snagged me a Ganondorf to put in my Christmas stash.

Another launch day come and gone; walked away with ZSSamus and Olimar. Just like with pre-ordering the Retro 3-pack, things were very orderly (helped that there were only three other people).

I hope that they don't just retread one (or more) of the games.

Nnnrrgh...I must own all of those Nendos. And that Shovel Knight amiibo.

It occurs to me--I own Nendo-Mako, and it looks like she and Link have the same type of interchangeable arms. Would Mako be able to hold those masks?

Didn't expect Dr. Mario to be an exclusive. Here's to hoping that my local Targets actually have more than two in stock.

(and aw yeah, dat Mewtwo)

Anyway, retro 3-pack was the easiest experience i've had with Amiibo preorders yet.

That's good to hear. :) It was probably the easiest for us thus far, too; minor card difficulties aside, we were in and out in five minutes.

So I ended up pre-ordering the 3-pack. Luckily, one of my sisters and I were near the front of the line, so she got hers, too (my other sister wasn't interested).

Think what you will of how it was handled, but having a set allotment is a lot easier on GameStops's servers than Wave 4.

That's good, I guess.

Man, I really wanna pre-order the three-pack, but I already got another pre-order to save for, and I ain't confident of my chances of getting mine in before stock runs out anyway...
