CAPCOM should just give the franchise to someone else then.
They won't do that.
Its just easier to re-release the old games and reap merchandise profits.

As for Capcom giving the rights to someone else? Maybe not fully. Let someone else try make a MegaMan game. Worked fine for Metroid Prime and look at the new Tomb Raider.
Don´t have to change the basics,just try something new. Sega did. Look how well Sonic Generations is.

How did this topic go from Mega Man to negativity?
Look, all i´m saying is. If you look at life and it´s negative parts , you miss the good parts of life.
Take school, where you meet friends or discovered new things.
Or first day you played Mega Man 2. Was that a negative part?
Maybe when you watched a animated show first time and you liked it. That negative as well?
Nope! Life is not all negative stuff. If you just look at it like that of course you think life sucks. And some times it does and you can´t ignore it.But if you always look at the bad parts of life, then what is life? Just one big bad negative time? No, of course not.
