wut indeed

Maybe it's to tide people over until the second season of Fate/Zero. I was hoping for the next TM project to be a HF anime/movie adaption.

This is TYPE-MOON, does Melty Blood or Fate/Stay Night make sense to you either?

Yes in fact, they do. They make complete and perfect sense to me.

You see, the name Melty Blood is actually referring to the game's Heat Gauge. This gauge is so awesome you see that it can in fact reach a temperature so high that it can cause blood to melt and become... melty, yeah. Thus the name Melty Blood.

As for for Fate/stay night (with 'stay night' having no capitalized letters in it, you should know this) it is obviously referring to something far more DEEP. For this, let's have a closer look at the Fate route segment entitled stay night; here is where Saber leaves, obviously this is the 'Fate' that the name refers to - how she and Shirou must be separated, because it's fate. Or something. But of course Fate would refer to her she is Fate's poster girl, it only makes sense that the series' title refers to her.

As for the stay night part, it is clearly referring to how it is their last night together and for them to remain so it would involve that night becoming never ending or something... yeah. But it is not to be, because it goes against fate... or something.

It's all very DEEP but it makes sense... I think?

It should go without saying, but obviously I just made all that up just now.

Well, now you made the meaning of F/sn sound like a Kingdom Hearts title. I think Nomura uses similar LOLogic as yours.

Melty Blood... yeah, there's no helping that.

Since when do magical girl series have titles that make sense?:

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica
Mahou Shoujo Negima!

Granted this one is over the top, but the manga itself is rather over the top too.

Well, if this recent interview (http://www.tsukikan.com/miscellanea/nasu-kinoko-takeuchi-takashi-urobuchi-gen-special-forum.html) is anything to go by...

Quote
Uro: No matter what the "original" concept may be, I think any sort of manifestation is fine as long as the author is enjoying it. The "Authors need their own castle" mindset is a bit outdated, I think.

Nasu: I think we can see that in Hiroyama Hiroshi, who's clearly pouring all of his talent into Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya (*4). AND he's enjoying it. (Laughs)

Takeuchi: It's true, whenever I read Prisma Illya, I keep thinking "No, that's a good idea, save it for when you do your own original work!" That's how good it is.

Uro: I think that's the strength of TYPE-MOON, that it's supported by so many passionate creators. Like Marvel Comics (*6), who gave birth to X-Men (*5), I think it's a great idea to encourage even more spin-offs by talented creators. There aren't many other works that have so many spin-offs and anthology works, including Fate/Zero. I would even say that TYPE-MOON works are the closest thing Japan has to a Marvel Comics.

I just wanted an excuse to post this interview somewhere.

TM is like Marvel comics? I guess I can see where he's coming from, but that was a terrible comparison.

I will admit that I was little unsure at first about Prisma Illya considering the manga it's based off is not really that great until the later parts but the anime has succeeding in winning me over with this:
Do note that this video is from the NicoNico stream version of the episode and not the broadcasted one which had a lot more unique shots and didn't reuse the same couple while also fixing some mistakes.
At the end of the day it still has a lot of things I dislike about it, such as Illya herself not really being the same character from the original and so on, but as long as you take it as its own thing and not an official part of the Nasuverse (which it isn't not being written by Nasu or anything) it's fine.

Earlier mentioned second season is airing.

If you have anything resembling taste at all you won't care.

Guess I don't have taste. Watched the first season, enjoyed it a lot.

Always been a fan of magical girl anything though, so what can I say.
