In that video, the reporter mentioned that throwing your show is an insult in the Iraqi culture...
I would think that throwing your shoe at someone to be insulting in any culture really. I mean, you're throwing your [tornado fang]ing shoe at someone. No one really knows where those feet have been. I'm not sure I want to know either.
Two just means you really hate their guts enough to throw shoes that have been places no one wishes to discuss. Ever.
