I did stream the Zero series in the 2009 Rockman-a-thon back when we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of Rockman 9 (http://forum.rockmanpm.com/index.php?topic=2634.0).
Fusion and Zero Mission? I like them. ^^
Both of them can be done in 2 hours each, specially if it's a 100% run. o.o

In all seriousness, it wouldn't be hard to set up an alert system. JustinTV has an option to send out an email when a user starts broadcasting and most phones have email addresses. For Verizon in the US, it's ##########@vtext.com. If you have a different provider, sending an email from your phone to your normal email and looking in the little box that says what address it's from should work. And if you don't want to give JTV your phone number, just set up a dedicated Gmail account for alerts coming from JTV, and set it to forward to your phone. Lastly, All you have to pay for this is the cost of some text messages; and maybe you already have a plan.

sorry I informed you of the livestream on short notice but you missed out on a good show of Rockman 1-4 on the actual system an bonus game playing of Rockman Power Fighters 2 on the acutal CPS2 board which was modified so where it did not have the suicide battery in it.
Retroreality will host more Megaman Live Stream next week at the same time as before with Rockman 5 and 6 being a shoe-in and the other 2 games + a bonus game still being a toss up. Hope to see a'll there. Oh and for Ustream, I use the PurrfectTrio name there.

Today 6/4/11 at 6PM PST 9PM EST Retroreality will be hosting a ustream showcasing some better known and many lesser known NES and Famicom gems. The games will be played between 5-15 minutes a piece and the stream will run as long as we can, possibly 3-4 hours.

Hey guys. Just want to mention that coming up in a couple weeks is the second annual Awesome Games Done Quick charity marathon being run by Speed Demos Archive. We'll be speedrunning over 100 games for 120 hours straight, and you can watch it all live starting January 4th at 3:00 PM EST. We're raising money again for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. We raised over $50,000 last year, and would love to top that. With your support, we can defeat cancer once again! Because this is a Mega Man site, I should mention the Mega Man games that will be played. Starting at about 9 PM EST on January 5th (schedule is subject to change), we got 6 different Mega Mans lined up. First are Mega Man 2 and 3. After those we got Mega Man 10, and you the viewers will be able to donate for which character is used in that run (Mega Man or Bass. Sorry Proto fans :/ ) Next is a race in Mega Man X (not on the iPhone), and again your donations will determine if the two runners will get all the items in the game or just what's necessary. Mega Man X2 any% comes after that. And finally, I will be playing Mega Man X6 on the 8 boss category. Not exactly a popular MMX, I know, but there's some fancy stuff there in a speedrun. And it's the lead in to the block we call Awful Games Done Quick, a selection of especially terrible video games. Trust me, you do not want to miss us suffer through the likes of Bad Street Brawler and Bubsy 3D.

Fl0e of the US fighting game community has been challenging a new type of game, the "I Wanna Be..." series of games and fangames related to the original IWBTG. Sure by now everyone knows what to expect, but there are two big differences with this runthrough versus most others, namely the player is going in blind and various different circumstances (most notably Skype call ins) keep trolling him on his quest to beat these games.
Currently, he's working on I Wanna Be The Boshi, a self-referential and highly sadistic circle of video game hell. The best part? The developer of the game swung by the stream chat to troll it up. XD

Watching Floe's stream has to be the worst decision I've made in quite a while, because now I'm addicted and even downloaded the I wanna be... games too XD
Also, someone needs to upload to YT if they haven't already that one moment when Floe breaks the [tornado fang] down in I think it was Fangame, it seriously looked like he was going insane XD

Well, it's been a while since I broadcasted on justin.tv, or twitch.tv for the gamers section. Seems like they have done a lot of changes on how you broadcast now (from the last time I remember broadcasting there). :-/
I have just now did some random testing with the software they suggested. I tried that one called Dyyno Broadcaster. It seems to be one of the easiest ones to use by far. I've just taken advantage of their sales before it ended to bypass the live streaming limits, and I think it's going to work for what I want to use it for. I'm not sure what the original cost is, but I say it's worth it. :)
The only other one they suggest is either WireCast (which seems to be more expensive), or XSplit. I thought of XSplit, but you need to register. I don't really see the need to register another name just to broadcast something, so I just went with Dyyno. The first test was without a payment. The screen was small and there was a logo on the corner. After I paid for it, the quality looked better, and I got rid of the logo. :)
I think I should start streaming more. It's kind of fun, actually. :)

Just a quick mention that starting tomorrow SDA is running their summer marathon, Summer Games Done Quick (http://speeddemosarchive.com/marathon). It will run about 100 hours, starting 3 PM eastern tomorrow with both Startropics games. The big RPGs are Final Fantasy 8 and 6. And there are a few Mega Man games too; 1, 4, 10, and Rockman and Forte. And tons tons more. I'm not going to be there, but I hope to see you guys in the chat.
