Title: Pokemon Elements for Super Robots
Post by: geekgo4 on December 30, 2009, 07:55:07 AM
If any Robot Masters/Super Robots were to follow the Pocket Monster rule, which one or two elements(types) do you think would be appropriate for them? For example, WindMan could be both Flying/Fighting.

You could substitue flying for wind or air since some air based bots can't fly, like Hyper Storm H.

You can also add some Irregulars/Mavericks if you want.

That's how i think of my 8 robot masters for my megaman odyssey hack. :)
I think of boltman as lightning elemetal, duplex as physic, necro as dark/flying, blademan as ground ... etc :)

Man... This was a past-time for me when I get bored... XD
Though for me, most would be under the Steel type due to their Master Weapons... Yeah, I based types on their Master Weapons.

So... To name a few...

Guts - Rock
Napalm - Normal (Explosion was Normal, so any weapon that deals with explosives are Normal type. XD)
Cut - Steel

You think with a name like NapalmMan, he would be fire based.

I can pretty much see Charge as a Fire/Poison type(he shoots burning coal, the Net Navi is a fire type, and the smoke from his tooter(or whatever) can cause some pollution, or so I heard).

Bass - Dark/Steel maybe?

Dark for that whole Evil Energy thing, Steel since he's a robot.

I can see Zero as pure Steel-type. Fighting/Steel potentially.

Rock? Hard to say.

I know it's for Robot Masters, but hey. Worth a shot.

Megaman - Whatever the hell Arceus is (Bulbapedia says it's Normal, but it can change types with those plates)

Megaman IS Arceus. Except his plates contain the souls of the RM's he's defeated, so he swaps them out for different attacks.

Zero - Fight

Bass - Dark/Flying/Ability

Rock - Normal/Ability (Ability since him and Arceus can change color depending on element, along with the 3rd gen pokemon that resembles a reptile that changes element)

Blues - Fire/Ability (Since he has plasma shots most of the time charged)

Duo - Fight/Ability (That big fist, you know the drill)

MM7:

Shade Man - Dark/Flying

Turbo Man - Fire

Slash Man - Fight/Fire

Cloud Man - Elec

Freeze Man - Ice

Junk Man - Steel

Burst Man - Poison

Spring Man - Fight

Iceman - Ice
Fireman - Fire
Bombman - Normal

MM3!
Sparkman - Electric
Shadowman - Dark
Snakeman - Grass
Magnetman - Electric
Hardman - Rock/Steel (pretty much invincible against most types)
Needleman - Normal
Geminiman - Normal
Topman - Fighting (he's pretty much Hitmontop)

Waveman - Water

Splash Woman - Water

Plant Man - Grass

Knight Man - Steel/Fighting

Ground Man - Ground/Steel

Magic Man - Psychic

Astro Man - Dark/Psychic

Tengu Man Flying/Normal
