Well, from what I played (and from only understanding very little drops of what was going on), this is going to be a very promising title. I'm just a little saddened that when I got to questioning the suspect, a glitch happened and I couldn't continue to press or investigate him.
Also, why do I have the feeling that the Objection generator might wind up adding Gumshoe now that we have all these side views of characters?

I love the new play mechanic, the Logic game. You get given evidence for logically linking to the incident and suspects at hand, and you're supposed to use it in the order you think they were used to commit the crime you're investigating. I can't wait until this thing gets translated.
And I didn't know poor Gumshoe was this stupid in the japanese version. Reading him in the original script makes him look even stupider, the poor guy.

If we're lucky, the likes of Play-asia may be able to find a way to sell at least a few copies. That's what they're getting primed and ready to do for Biohazard (RE) 5, and I'd like to think, with how lucrative the Gyakuten games have been for PA, they'll try their damndest to do the same here, too.

Meh, I'm too used to Gumshoe being the woobie (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheWoobie) to like the idea of him being a plain idiot...

I dunno, I liked him being the lovable moron in the original, as much as I like him being the "woobie" in the English translation.

One thing I do like from his lovable idiot persona is how the writers put his pronunciation of stuff in writing, always ending with a very countryside "-ssu" with the tsu and the su in katakana. XD Makes him look all the more believable, and all the more lovably idiotic. :P

It's an interview of the GK making group staffs.
The most imporant thing we can learn from the interview is:
Yamazaki's(the director) original plan was moving the stage outside of the court,game players can investigate crime scenes and deduce as a detective,and the main character was supposed to be Ema Skye.However, Eshiro(the producer) vetoed his plan,because at the first sight he read the plan, Edgeworth jumped into his mind.

Eshiro:We didn't only make GK as a subsequent story of GS, but also a spin off series.Considering the reaction from the game fans, we will probably make another GK game.

It's what we could've gotten instead of Edgeworth.
In an interview with Siliconera, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth producer Motohide Eshiro revealed that Miles wasn't exactly the first choice in mind for the upcoming Ace Attorney spin off. That would actually be Ema Skye, everyone's favorite snackoos addict.
“The director originally proposed to use Ema as the main character,” Motohide Eshiro, Producer. “But, according to the feedback we got from our fans it seems Edgeworth was the more popular character. So we decided to listen to the fans and use the more popular character.”
He goes on to say that if he had to choose, he'd want to see a spin off based around Ace Attorney's most underpaid character, Dick Gumshoe.

Hey...We may get another GK game!
The original information source is 4Gamer.
It's an interview of the GK making group staffs.
The most imporant thing we can learn from the interview is:
Yamazaki's(the director) original plan was moving the stage outside of the court,game players can investigate crime scenes and deduce as a detective,and the main character was supposed to be Ema Skye.However, Eshiro(the producer) vetoed his plan,because at the first sight he read the plan, Edgeworth jumped into his mind.

Have you decided what you will do in the future?
Eshiro:We didn't only make GK as a subsequent story of GS, but also a spin off series.Considering the reaction from the game fans, we will probably make another GK game.

Eshiro: I talked to Mastukawa(the producer of GS series) and offered to take part in making GS5 as well.

Interpol investigator Shiryuu Rou has been confirmed as "Shi-Long Lang," which is actually just the Chinese reading of the kanji in his Japanese name.
From screenshots we can also see that Zinc's last name is Leblanc (probably to avoid any connection to "Redd White") and Ichiru's is Teneiro. It appears they've left "Yatagarasu" as is.

I must say, this game is awesome, and it's not just because it's freaking Miles Edgeworth. XD
Despite similar in finding evidence like in the previous AA games, but the whole Logic deduction is a welcome addition.

Also forgot to mention that the overworld sprites are just brilliantly made.
Smooth transitions, and Franziska's whipping never looked so smooth in Case 2. XD

[spoiler]Finished Case 5. So, I thought Yew will be your final opponent, though didn't expect her to become Shih-na... Also... Ex-Ambassador Alba is what final bosses should be. Denying everything till the very end. In my opinion, one of the best cases in the whole Ace Attorney series.[/spoiler]

If the DS I was using hadn't been pulled away, I'd probably be around the end of the game right now. I was making some pretty mad progress through the game before my friend asked for his DS back.
