X / Re: Sigma's Belial Form (X8)
« on: January 26, 2010, 06:37:24 AM »
^Because, as Zan said, he's perfectly capable of traveling large distances as just a virus, then does the Body Hop Dance to continue on.

My theory is all of Sigma was gathered into one place, hence why Belial Sigma is considered the strongest; it's the cumulative form of every piece of Sigma, and when the place they were on blew up, so did Sigma. This kills Sigma to prevent him from showing up later, the Maverick Virus is still loose for the Elf Wars to occur, and continuity isn't destroyed.

What kind of retard would do this?!

seriously, I want an answer!

 :o

People desperate for a job and hope that just by being on this 'show' they're getting paid enough so they won't have to be subjected to the kind of torture involved with video game testing?

On a side note, MSNBC really thinks these jobs are the coolest. Though, in their defense, they didn't say "best" or even well paying (the last one they admit pays less than 300 bucks).

...You're kidding,right?

Surely there must be a good reason why they haven't developed/released MvC3 now. Maybe it's because they're afraid MvC3 won't be able to live up to the hype MvC2 put out.

Marvel broke off with Capcom after MvC2 got released, and teamed up with EA, then Activision once they realized they were being too retarded.

From what I understand though, Marvel asked Tatsunoko to do so cross-over mangas or something with their slew of characters, so I'm hoping for MvCvT.

Then your brain is broken.
*borrows Hypershell's fish*
Here, let me fix that for you...

Go play the PS2/Wii Version of the nighttime levels, then get back to me.
I always say this, just imagine your playing as knuckles.

The 360 Night time stages weren't bad either, just too repetitive. At least the combo list was big, better than DMC4's :\ The day time stages though are a helluva lot better to play on the 360/PS3 versions though, my brother has the PS2 version and it was pretty slow by comparison.

Don't look up that episode. It was a travestly.

The whole show is a travesty now a days, the same gags are being recycled and reused, and everyone else seems to be hopping on the same train too :\

debatable. But like last time, the US CD will have the Drama tracks removed.

Depends on how Atlus of America handles it. If they just stick the CD in the case like last time, then they'll remove some tracks. If they go for the full-blown set, then they'll probably keep everything together or else they'd [acid burst] off the customers who spent more then they should have for reduced content.

The special attacks look pretty bitchin', but my enthusiasm for this game is still low.

Vixy you're a Tikal fan, too? I liked her character a lot! I do hope she makes a reappearance in the series again since Chaos did once without her!

Bad news then, Tikal and Vector got taken off for day 3

Go to that site and bookmark it, the updated image is the one concerning Day 2.

And off topic, Shenmue is going to be in the Sega All-Stars racing game.

I can't tell since I don't read moonspeak, but the four characters next to MOMO and whoever are in a black box graphic, but the pictures seem to have them facing right...so are they enemies coming back, assist characters, or what?

One thing I just realized that actually breaks the rules that KH set up, by the mid-quel; the Nobodies. It's understood that Kairi's Nobody was formed when she lost her heart, and the 'empty shell' that remains forms it, but in KH1 we see her body with Riku being carried around like luggage. Heck, if I remember right, the scene when Sora stabs himself with the Dark Keyblade, he frees her heart and it goes right back into her, along with the Dark Keyblade disappearing and freeing the OTHER hearts of the Princess', which is another question, but at what point exactly did Namine appear? Also, did Sora just grow a body back from being a Heartless? How did that work? Lastly, shouldn't the Princesses of Heart have Nobodies as well? If Kairi somehow had one, then those other 6 should as well since the only major difference is that instead of their hearts being inside a different person, they were inside an object.

Something else, spoilers for 358/2:
Xemnas created Xion through Sora's lost memories, but how did that work out exactly? Did he just force Namine to give him Sora's memories? I can get that she managed to escape the Organization with DiZ/Riku's help, but then how were they also working on restoring Sora's memories at the start of KH2? Did Xemnas just create a copy of Sora's memories then molded them into Xion?
Nomura, Stephany Meyer, and JK Rowling in a terrible writer cage match.

Meyer wins, hand-bloody down. JKR's story makes sense on a basic level, and while Nomura needs a flow-chart to understand, at least no pre-existing rules are flat-out broken or destroyed, Meyer is a mockery of everything from romance to occult creatures.

Anyway, I don't see this anywhere but.....
how is it that Vantias and Sora look so similar? We're supposed to believe that Vantias gives his 'look' to Sora when he went into Ven and then Ven went into Sora, but Sora was already born, and he's only a year or two younger than Riku, and in the game, Riku is at the very least 2, which means jack diddly, and as far as affecting his clothes go, at the start (for Sora anyways) of KH2 he finds the faeries from Sleeping Beauty and they give him his outfit (not to mention that really wouldn't affect anything since they're clothes, not actual physical appearance).

Also, why the heck does Xehanort want the X-Blade, or Kingdom Hearts? in the flow chart Vixy put up concerning Sora, there's a note that the ridiculous thing is sought after by Xehanort. Is it just power? Is he nothing more than a typical villian?
Dammit KHWikia! When is the spoiler policy going away? DX

Yes. Yes it is.

It's got the best battle engine that these types of games can hope for, while also being the most balanced of its type. Any one who loved DMC and/or Ninja Gaiden Black will likely find something to love here.

I'd say even more so, NG had a terrible camera control scheme and I know DMC has some lag once in a while; there's a ton of crap happening in Bayonetta all the time and I didn't notice one frame of lag (not to mention Bayo has a bigger combo move list than Dante does in any ONE game of his in total), and the fact you can change weapons in mid-combo to pull off a different variation of it is nice, as well as how holding down the punch/kick button at any particular time results in using the special ability of the weapon (like pulse blast/fire bombs for the claws, firing any guns equipped, and the 'samurai' slash with the sword) to further change around how the combos work.

Chip is impossible, given what happened in Unleashed. And "Mr. Needlemous" is another name for Sonic himself.
8D 8D

To be quite frank, I wouldn't put it past them to put up Chip or "Needlemouse" in the game, simply to [tornado fang] with people. The one character I know damn well they won't put in as a serious character is "Froggy", simply because he technically isn't a character but just the name of the frog Big is always with, and even going into "joke" character territory, there's no possible game play possible for his size, stature, and lack of abilities unless they come up with some bull-[parasitic bomb] ones, or if they make a frog-like character named Froggy through some sort of BS.

Here's a good question: what the hell are the Unversed? If we now know what the hell happens to the characters, just who or what are the Unversed? I'll admit a sequel to the series could help shed some light on the entire situation and end all questions (like the absolute origin of the keyblade, the keyblade war, where the Heartless came from, and what the Unversed are and the whole connection, as well as what would happen if a Heartless, Nobody, and Unversed combined?)

It does not change the fact, that... well, If I want to play with someone ONLINE, I need to [tornado fang]ing pay for it.
Which is a travesty and I refuse to accept it.

Damn, I was supposed to say no more about this.

You COULD get a PS3, outside of Halo and Gears of War the PS3 has just about all the same games on the 360 (plus it's a blue-ray player). The reason why it gets so much flak is because of it's original high price point, but now that that is no longer a real issue, it's really no different, and it helps that it's exclusive lean towards the better and the more genre-broad (Cross Edge, God of War 3, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance and Killzone for FPS games, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, and you can buy the old Spyro and Crash games through the PS3 market). Considering most 3rd party release titles though, there's very little difference between the PS3 and 360 (it helps that if you're a JRPG fan Atlus and Nippon Ichi seem to stick with Sony for their titles in that area).

However I don't know if the PS3 requires pay to play online, but honestly, outside of FPS games what other games have a good online multiplayer community? The game will either lag or you'll have move spammers or any number of things, so unless you absolutely LOVE playing games online, the multiplayer aspect is kinda dead.

I think SE was always trying to outdo Hideo, and KH finally gave them a set continuity to [tornado fang] around with to REALLY mess things up and BS about.

Something that might be kind of cool for the next KH game, just to at least justify making Sora either a big whore or so, a Body Form Switch mechanic. With the push of a button, Sora can switch out his body with Xion or Roxas and for an unlockable, switch out with Ventus/Vantus/Veantus, and each one plays differently. Sora can use Drive forms, Xion can use Memory forms, Roxas can use Nobody forms, and depending on the unlockable, use the command thingy that he's associated with or something. Memory forms can be the forms Xion used in 358/2, and Nobody forms can be reminiscent of various Nobodies from KH2 (like Axel, Xigbar, Saix, Vexen and Larxene, with each form using a special version of the spell associated with it), and all the form types can use the Drive gauge like before, and throw in one or two new Drives for Sora and maybe a new one for Xion and let Roxas use the kick-ass form he had in 358/2 and KH2 went he was fighting Sora or Axel.

And is it me, or does Demyx look a little bit like Travis Touchdown with his mugshot from 358/2?

If anything, he's a whiny brat. Always wanting to beat Mega Man, always wanting to become the strongest robot, that's all he ever thinks about. Granted that's exactly what he was programmed to be like, he never really thinks about how to come about it, and just keeps trying to beat'em up. Never going up to Wily and saying "Hey, gimme powers to beat Mega man" or no thinking of plans to bring about Mega Man's downfall and make him weaker, he just wants to beat him with his own two hands. Granted that's pretty admirable of him to only rely on himself, the problem lies in that: he relies ONLY on himself and sometimes Treble. Mega Man has Rush, Dr. Light, Roll, and Beat and reasons to protect them, something Bass doesn't have or understand, so it ends up being a "I fight for my friends thus giving me power" shtick.

tl;dr, Bass' character flaw of being solo makes him a loser and whiny brat.
That's why the next game isn't KHIII, but not just a side game, either!
Then what? a game movie?

So, Ven = Sora; Sora = Ven. Two boys in one body, how that sound? 8D

Secret Boss theme
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEuPQ7MsJdI

Sounds like someone we know...

And this make sense too
How does Tetsuya Nomura come up with these storylines...?
So hard to follow...
First we had Terra who turned into Terranort after being possessed by Master Xehanort. Terranort then calls himself Xehanort after getting amnesia. He then calls himself Ansem after losing himself to darkness. After being split into a heartless and a nobody, Heartless calls himself Ansem, while Nobody calls himself Xemnas. However, he isn't the real Ansem, but was the apprentice of Ansem.

We have Sora. He created a nobody called Roxas. Who has somebody who looks exactly like him called Ventus who existed 10 years ago. Ventus, who has another half to him called Vanitas. Who looks exactly like Sora except with black hair and golden eyes. Ventus' heart then enters Sora's, explaining why Roxas looks like Ventus. However, that doesn't explain why Sora looks like Vanitas, the OTHER side of Ventus that DIDN'T enter Sora.
When Sora lost his memories, a clone was created called Xion. Xion is connected to Sora and wants to BE Sora by absorbing his memories. We also had Data Sora from Coded who had 'the heart of Sora' but wasn't.

Riku. Lost his way to the darkness and got possessed by Ansem who was really Xehanort who was really Terranort. He fought off the darkness but then started using it willingly again. He then transformed to look like Ansem to fully embrace the darkness. Now Riku calls himself Ansem. Lost his Ansem form and called himself Riku again. We also have a clone of Riku that is aptly named Riku Replica.

So we also have Kairi. A princess of heart. Who's heart went into Sora, but was later released. This then created Namine, the nobody of Kairi. Technically. The two then fuse and reform Kairi who was not MEANT to have her body, because of the creation of her Nobody, Namine, but still had it. Also, the clone Xion also takes on the form of Kairi because that is the strongest memory from Sora's memory. But Xion had black hair, not red. And later Xion would want to become Sora and started looking like him.

ORIGINAL Ansem. Got his name copied a hell of alot so he called himself DiZ. Showed himself to be Ansem. Ate sea-salt ice-cream.

In conclusion. Too many Xehanorts. Too many Ansems. Too many Soras.
Geez Nomura. Hook me up with your dealer sometime.
God damn, Sora could open up a [tornado fang]ing hotel at this rate. So if I got the story, then:
there's Sora himself, Ventus, Roxas, Xion, and at one point Kairi that was in him.

I'm assuming the only reason why he looks like Vantias is because either Vantias 'joined' back with Ventus or went back inside him, giving Sora his look and thus saving some kind of epic twist at the end of it all, which wouldn't make a lick of sense because we clearly see Kairi and Riku at a young age and Sora is the same age as Kairi, and Riku can already freaking talk and have some understanding of the world (something I doubt a toddler could do) so the whole thing about the game being 10 years prior to KH1 ends up becoming a bunch of BS or else they're really over-estimating the intelligence of children. Even then, what good did it do Ventus to put his heart inside Sora?

Seriously, I think I'm going to have to draw a [tornado fang]ing flow-chart to see if I understand this [parasitic bomb] properly :\
Who wants to bet that if KH3 or whatever actually does come about and it's Sora saving whoever, they're going to say that there are even MORE people inside of him or shove more in him? You could say that when he uses a Drive form he absorbs Goofy and/or Donald to use that form meaning they can be included in the body count of Hotel Sora as well.

What is there to play on X360? BROWN & BLOOM FPS?
Give me a break.

That's actually stopped happening for some time now. Once the Halo tidal wave crashed, all FPS games just stopped arriving. There's still a good chunk of games for the 360 that aren't bad. There's: Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Spectral Force 3, Star Ocean 4, Sonic Unleashed in all of it's uber speed glory, Prince of Persia, Dead Rising (and soon Dead Rising 2), Bayonetta, Devil May Cry 4, BlazBlue, Street Fighter 4, Soul Caliber 4, SW:Force Unleashed, Dynasty Warrior's: Gundam, DOA4, DOAX2, Darksiders, Orange Box (yes it's mainly FPS games, but Half-Life has always been a sort of 'counter-Halo' with not everything being darker than poo, plus it has Portal), Ninja Gaiden 2, and for FPS games that are different there's Borderlands and Fallout 3. The PS3 has a good majority of those games too, minus the DOA games and a different version of NG2 (not too sure about Spectral Force 3 or Star Ocean 4), as well as it's own exclusives.

One thing about the current generation is that exclusives just don't work, so it's more of a toss up of whether or not you like the exclusives on the particular system and what technical difficulties there are compared to it's other system versions (like Bayonetta being much slower on the PS3), so if you haven't already, get either a PS3 or 360, at least the PS3 has wireless 'net and better old games that would be more difficult to pirate.
