All 8 Robot Masters fighting you at the same time~! >U<

I beat them all:

I won against them in this order (spoiler): Clash, Quick, Bubble, Flash, Metal, Air, Wood, Heat.

You need to head to Key Config first so you can set your buttons.
Try the ASDF keys to go past the title screen, then press B to go down to Key Config.
Then go through each control buttons one by one. Have fun~!

Sounds pretty hard.. I wonder, has this game strained people with so many colors on the same screen at once by anychance?

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

I don't know if I can continue working on my mega man fan game. Seeing that the Mega Man Network, Galbadia Hotel are down. Those sites are what I used to obtain sounds and music for my fan game. Now that they are down, I am having trouble finding the sounds I need. X_X

Also, all 8 robot masters at the same time? I gotta try it. :)
EDIT: Okay, that game is NEARLY Impossible to beat. (I say Nearly, because apparently Vixy can prove it is possible to beat them all) I don't know how someone can actually beat this without getting hit once.

I tried playing it, I can't even beat it. Even used 1 e-tank and still can't do this. WTF was the creator doing when he made this?

Has a mirror of a lot of what goes up in GH. They downright copy everything down to the listing structure, they're younger so they don't even care. The server is considerably worse too, seeing how it cuts my download in the middle a lot of times. Better than nothing either way.

And isn't your project 8-bit? Downloading NSFs and converting them to WAV/Mp3 should more than do the trick, especially seeing how NSFs most of the times come with the sound effects too.

Umm... none of the downloads work on that site. Even after refreshing after about 5 times or so.
Also, it's not just music. Some of the megaman soundtracks have the complete sound SE collection. And its kind of hard to find already ripped megaman sounds if you don't want to rip them yourself.

Well, so much for the "competition" then.

Either way, GH works here, but it's very slow. A friend of mine posted this recently in another forum as a good VG OST site:

http://www.sound-test.org/soundtracks/

If what you're really after are the sounds, there's the Mega Man 9 sound files with all of them compiled. If you don't have them, I can upload them. And if you need sounds not found in MM9, NSFs are your best bet indeed - and I think ripping from them is better than having to select a portion of the MP3 with all the sounds and then saving it.

actually, think I found what I was looking for, on http://beemp3.com/ .  Don't know if they have all the tracks, but i think i found some of the ost tracks there.

Well in any case, back on topic. I am currently making a mega buster charged shot. Can't decide to make the charge sound loop ala RM4-6, or make it only play once, no loop. Much like Protomans charged shot sound in MM9.

I'd like to do a full mm hack myself (like that English mm4 forever hack that has completely new things in it). Unfortunately I know nothing about rom hacking. Which is why I have to resort to engines like MMF2. While the programming has lots of bugs, at least I am not limited. But whatever.

I hear there is some rom hacking software tools very specific to the MM games series. But I don't know them, or do I have them.

I tried Rockman2Neta only once, I obviously knew that I was gonna die. After watching that youtube vid, I figured that I could do that as well, but I didn't feel like trying. Still, quite funny to take on all 8 Robot Masters from MM2!

That creator should consider the same idea for MM1-MM6 as well.

You dont need to convert NSF's to MP3 you can just code a script to use NSF's directly, so you can use it to loop music without making game lag.

How? I am currently using .wav for sounds, and .ogg for music. As MMF2 uses MIDI for music. Although I think there maybe some direct x plugins or extensions that can play MP3's, but I'm trying to use as less extensions as possible. While you can loop audio and sound infinitely, I don't see a problem. I can show you my source code if you want to take a look at it. X_X

In any case, more weapons testing. The Charged shot is now a limited weapon. ;)

For the moment, Touhou Rock Girl (the 8bit Touhou game starring my lovely favorite Hakurei Reimu~) is only a soundtrack for the moment. The screenshots are just mock-ups and the game doesn't seem to be real, but the soundtrack will still come on December 25th, celebrating that Rockman 9 is available for download on Wii.
